UNEXPECTED DIVINE INTERVENTION

As a dutiful citizen of this country, I would declare my annual income every year. However, this year I received a letter from LHDN (Inland Revenue) stating that I owed them money and had to pay them a certain sum, which amounted to a five figure income tax. Personally I felt I should not be taxed but then what is ‘Caesar’s belongs to Caesar’s’; therefore I thought of going to the LHDN department to make arrangement in the payment mode – i.e. to request payment by installment since it was such a big sum.

At about the same time, I sent my car to my regular workshop and while the mechanics were working on my car, I casually related this experience to the workshop owner. He recommended me his chartered accountant and encouraged me to see him. It so happened too that I had all the relevant documents in my car, so I met up with the Chartered Accountant. I gave him all my files and documents and he promised to look into my case. In his professionalism, he wrote a letter quoting certain Articles and Laws, stating the reasons for my exemption. This week, I received a letter from LHDN approving my exemption – I don’t have to pay any additional tax! Hallelujah! And the amazing thing is, the amount that I need to pay the accountant for his service is just a fraction of what I was taxed!

God is so good!

" I BELIEVE ! "

The beginning of this year has been challenging for me personally as it began with my career going downhill. Being in the sales line, achieving sales target is an absolute. In addition to that, my company has increased my sales target from a previous 2million USD to 6.8million USD this year – triple the amount. Early this year, however, I lost some significant tenders; in fact, one of them was an important client to our company. Not achieving the sales target and not closing on significant deals certainly reflects on my performance. And I was beginning to tell myself that if I loose the upcoming tender, I better get ready to tender in my resignation, rather risked being fired.

It was at such time that I felt insecure and vulnerable; yet I remember that this is the year of the unusual, so I learn to submit and to trust God. I’m reminded of the prophetic word that was release to me sometime ago but I have yet to see His word come into fulfillment. Nevertheless I choose to believe and stayed on His prophetic word.

In the last two months, I had been working on a tender that I lost earlier this year. It was in the midst of pursuing it that I received text messages from church members. Bear in mind, none of them knew what I was going through specifically. One of the text messages was related to the supernatural work that happened to one of our church members (read the post on “God’s supernatural work by Sis. Way Faan”). The text ended with these words, “She heard the word and responded and supernatural thing begin to happen. Let’s keep the same attitude and believe; YOU would be the next recipient of the supernatural works of God.” Without hesitation, I responded to it with, “I BELIEVE!”

Last week, we received a letter to confirm that we had secured the tender. This tender itself is worth 50% of my sales target. Praise God for His supernatural works! I believe that as I remain in the prophetic word, I would be able to meet my sales target even before the year ends.

GOD'S SUPERNATURAL WORK

In our church we have been taught that everytime God's word is preached, we must receive it into our our hearts by responding to it. I remember vividly just last month, how the word of God reminded us that "while" the two disciples (on the road to Emmaus) were hearing Jesus speaking to them, their hearts were already burning, i.e. at the same time that they were hearing, their hearts were burning. So I opened my heart to hear and to receive the word of God, and while I was still hearing, His word has already been activated in my life. I choose not to reason or to struggle with the word of God as it would bring about disbelief; instead I choose to believe that God would fulfill every word which He has spoken.

It was in this particular service on 19th Sept. 2010, that I remembered responding aloud by saying, "Amen" when we were encouraged to believe that greater things would come to us, where even the impossible would become POSSIBLE! When my name was mentioned about receiving a business deal that is worth RM5K, I responded with a louder "Amen!".

On 5th of Oct, 2010 (in less than a month), I received a business deal worth RM11K in a single order. Without hesitation on the same day, the customer paid me promptly with a current check. I did not go asking for business; instead this customer came into my shop and requested for a quotation. Without much negotiation, my quotation was accepted and the deal was sealed. My natural mind could not comprehend it as it was truly beyond my imagination, but the mind of Christ in me says, "ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE IN HIM!"

Indeed God is great! God is Sovereign and He is seated on high on the throne regardless of the economic downturn. Because I'm seated there with Him in the heavenly places, I can be at rest in my heart. As I continue to keep an open heart in receiving His proceeding word and responding to it, God Himself would bring His word into fulfillment. I desire to keep my heart open so as to always receive His proceeding word and that my heart would keep burning whereby I would be adjusted, aligned and tuned to His frequency as I continue to keep walking and staying close to Him.

These are the years of the unusual and of the supernatural!!

HE IS MAGNIFICENT

When I'm out there in my college, I would encounter alot of challenges, trials and problems but I know He has given me the very strength to overcome every one of it. That is why I always look forward to gather back together with my brothers and sisters for cell group. Every time when we gather together, we would be refreshed by His very presence.

Tonight, as we gathered, I really felt the greatness of God and that He is in charge in that place. As I worship and praised Him of His greatness, I begin to see that we are in Him instead of Him being the centre of our gathering. I was so overwhelmed by what I saw that I could not fully described how I felt in words. I was in awe and all I could hear myself say was, "God, You are magnificent, You are awesome!". It's just like the song we sang, "you are magnificent, eternally, wonderful, glorious, Jesus, no one ever will compare to You, Jesus.."

When I came to cell group that night I felt tired as school week was pretty hectic. Nevertheless as I choose to be a participator and not spectator, I was refreshed and renewed by His very presence as we worshiped Him. I felt so energized!

NOT SPECTATORS BUT PARTICIPANTS

In our cell group we have been taught about what Celebration Sunday is all about. This week we learned that Celebration Sunday is a time to lift up His name to exalt Him because we want Him to manifest among us. This also means it's a time where He comes fully in charge of it.

We may not be assigned with any role in the cell group but we are still a player and we must be involve by being sensitive/aware of how the holy spirit is leading, what is being stressed during sharing, responding aloud by saying “amen”, pushing in deeper into worship to help make the atmosphere more intense so that things of heaven would be seen here on this earth BECAUSE WE ARE PLAYERS IN THE SAME TEAM!.

This statement - "We come not to be spectator but participators" I realized that there are times where its tough to feel lively when we are actually feeling dry, but no matter how tough it is, we can rise above our emotion as long as we put our feet into His living river, the little water that wet our feet can cleanse us. The more we enter into this river of His, we would be cleansed, refreshed and renewed.

Every Friday, I can sense in my spirit that God is always there to remind us of His river of living water is flowing everytime we are gathered together. What we need to do is just to let go of ourselves, YIELD ourselves unto Him, and let Him cleanse and reform us.

Last Friday, I felt such intimate relationship with God, that I can feel Him so close to us and loving us. We weren't praying and worshiping like we usually do but yet His presence just overwhelm us because He is charge now of the meeting. It's at this moment that very His awesome presence moved me to tears.

His very awesome presence stirred me to draw closer and closer to Him. I am determined to be a participant who functions and contributes! We are the new generation who are victorious in Him! We are the New Generation Arise!

MY LIFE REFLECTS HE WHO IS IN ME

In our last cell group, God's presence supernaturally touch everyone of us. We don't need a few songs for our spirit to be connected, we spoke in tongues and that's it, we are inside that strong dimension of the presence of God. I believed that God spoke to everyone of us.

God talk to me about knowing who we are. We must remember what we carry inside, who we represent and what is our mission here on this earth. We have to be careful of our daily speech that is to think before we speak.

I remembered what a speaker mentioned recently that is "remove things that isn't right in our life, or else God will remove us." Like what my teachers often tell me '' People will see the way you behave as how your parents do, if you don't want to embarrass them, behave well'.

I begin to realize that this thinking pattern of me being young therefore I have plenty of time to change; I can do whatever I like and change only when I get older is inaccurate.

While it's true, our God is merciful, but that doesn't mean we can always sin and continue to do something that doesn't please God at all. If we behave rudely, the people who doesn't know the church will assume that all Christians behave similarly. The way we talk and act will be seen as a mirror reflecting God foremost as well as the behaviors of our leaders and pastors by the people in the world.

Now I know that if I continue living my life such manner, God will stop using me. I must put a stop to this kind of inaccurate thinking pattern and change it immediately.

TIME MANAGEMENT

I was chatting with my leader on MSN. I wrote there: It's going to be a busy year. She agreed. Most of the people thinks that whenever it comes to busy, no one would be happy.

But to me, it's great! (I'm not nuts!) To tell you the truth, I'll always be grumbling to my leader that I feel so bored, I've nothing to do...etc. But now, I have quite a lot of work to do.
My projects, homework, preparation for UPSR..etc. But most of all I must always be able to adjust my time for God.

I thank God for giving me the wisdom on my management of time. I'm able to finish all the work my school teacher told me to, study at least 1 hour everyday... of course read my bible and pray. I'm able to finish all these things in just a short time (I have a long schooling hour). I'm very proud of myself and thank God greatly for it.

Besides, I thank my leader, Sis. Kim Suan for giving me advice on achieving all A's for UPSR. And I also wanna' thank Pastor Gan from GEAR for giving me his blessing. Most of all, I thank God for giving me great and wise leaders to help me!!!!!!! THANK ALL OF YOU FOR READING THIS BLOG!!!! ^^

ALL GLORY UNTO HIM

As I stepped into the year 2010, I begin to experience the Spirit of the Living God and His wisdom upon me more and more each day. His prophecies released for my life is coming into fulfillment one by one as I believe the year 2010 is a year of accelerating and of fulfillment.

In the year 2009 April 29 (which you could refer back to the page in this blog), I did mention about the prophecies that I received from Ps. Chung (ANS, Muar), which is about receiving His new strength, spirit and wisdom in order to study my course which is counseling. Now I could see day by day, God releasing His strength, spirit and wisdom unto my life.

Last Wednesday (24/3/10), we were required to do a presentation based on our research. I make all the necessary preparation to ensure that I was well prepared for my presentation. Just before my presentation, I told God of my desire in wanting to do this presentation as according to His word which is not by my might, not by power but by His very spirit.

Immediately after my presentation, my lecturer gave her comments regarding every student’s presentation. To my surprise, in a class of 23 students, she singled me out and asked everyone in the class to comment about my presentation. A few of my course mates was in agreement that I did well in my presentation to which my lecturer agreed.

My lecturer explained that my presentation was well and in accordance with what she wanted. She went on further to mention that she noticed that I express such eagerness in presenting our group’s research and was impressed that I had such confidence in carrying myself well in front of the class during my presentation.

Later on, my lecturer have me share my experiences as to how I prepare myself for the presentation in ensuring that our research was presented verbally in a clear and understanding manner. I was so thrilled that I told myself that this is the moment for me to glorified God. I begin to share with my class that it was the training that I received in the church. I told them that our church believes that we are leaders therefore we taught and trained on how to prepare our sharing notes to ensure there is clarity and the opportunities to speak or preach in front of our church members.

Upon hearing this, my lecturer added that since I’m the class rep therefore I would have even more opportunities now to practice speaking in front of the class. I was glad that despite all the praises that my lecturer showered upon me, I was firm and proud in revealing that I’m able to do all this is because of God and all the glory and honor belongs to Him alone.

Just like what we have been taught in our church that sons are trained and raised in the house (church). In the house (church) we are not trained not just in spiritual matter but other aspect as well such as how to present our work, handle our finances, handle our emotions, having honorable relationship and so on as according to His living word.

It is written in 1 Peter 4:11, ” If anyone speaks, he should do it as one speaking the very words of God. If anyone serves, he should do it with the strength God provides, so that in all things God may be praised through Jesus Christ. To Him be the glory and the power forever and ever. Amen.”

For I am His son therefore I will speak as one who is speaking the very word of God, and as I do, I will do it with the strength God provides, so that and in everything, God is the one who receive the glory and honor! Amen!

May I encourage you that as sons of God let us continue to give glory unto Him in all that we do as it is written, “And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.” Colossians 3:17

AN AMAZING YEAR 2010

I just can’t express with word, how thankful I m to the Father for His amazing plans in my life. I still remember over the past few months, I face a lot of discourage statement, pressure from everywhere and people even look down on me. It was a tough time for me. As a chemistry degree holder, I expect myself to get a job in no time. But things turn out to be more difficult than I thought. The countless applications I had sent and the numerous interviews I went for. In the end, there was no feedback from any of these companies.

Although all this challenges might be sad or even immobilize me from carrying on. But I never give up; I put my faith fully on God and believe on His word that things will come, it is just the matter of time. As this year 2010 is the year of acceleration, things will be accelerating fast for us as well and it will happen in an unusual way as the time is NOW!-

It is NOW, I got an offer from the company that I hope to work in. It was less than a day when I shared to my leader about this company, the job nature as a chemist and how good it will be if I get to work in this company.

I want to share this good news to everyone who read my testimonial. Never let situation, people or even circumstances to limit us but stay accurately connected to Him and have faith in Him believing what is to come. Although at times it might be tough but always bear in mind that God is fashioning and molding us in the midst of difficulties. Our Father will only allow us to go through things which He knows we have the ingredients within us to overcome. This is a year of unusual and things will happen in ways we never expect. Let us all believe and be ready to do things in a different way so that God can do His great and extraordinary works in our lives !

Praise the Lord for His amazing plans in each of us!

GATHER AS ONE

When we were worshiping in cell group, I heard God told me to be focus if I want to hear his voice. Besides that, God also said to me that every time when we are gathered as a team, there will be an explosion and this explosion will send us to every area to take over.
This explosion will keep the flame in our hearts to keep burning. Upon hearing these words, I feel so excited that I just cant wait for us to gather again because I know that every time when we gather, things would surely happen.

My brief sketch of the vision that I saw :p

During the cell group ( 19 /3/10 ) at Peter's house, Sis. Stephanie shared that we must focus on God when worshiping, and that we must yield ourselves unto the Lord. While we were worshiping, the Lord gave me a vision about the nations of the people praising and worshiping God. I saw them bowed down before the Lord and they shouted

“Worthy is the Lord God Almighty,
that rule and reigns over all the earth.”.

I was in awe and drawn to give Him all the glory and honor for HE IS THE LORD OF ALL THE NATIONS. I thank God for showing this vision.

THE RIVER OF GOD

During our recent cell group, we had a fantastic experience. God's awesome presence filled the place and all of us pressed in deeper to worship Him. I just lingered in His presence and totally enjoyed it and so did the rest.

While we were worshiping, God reminded me of something I learned recently in G.E.A.R. I saw the vision that Dr. Jonathan David told us. It was just like a flashback. I saw a river. It's not just any river but it was the river of living water as it was crystal clear, so clear as though its transparent. I went into the river and immediately what Dr. Jonathan David had taught us in G.E.A.R was brought back into my memory.

I remembered Dr. Jonathan David mentioned that it's in the river that all the contamination in me would be washed away and I will be totally cleansed! It's in this river that God's hand would stretch forth to begin to change and form me. It's here that I will gain a new name at the dawn of a new day, just like Jacob.

Upon receiving this vision and words, I began to speak it out strongly in the cell group. All of us were so encouraged and felt strong in our hearts. After the worship, all of us felt so happy because we're filled with the presence of God and know deep within that His hand would keep shaping and forming us. I'm so glad that we had this amazing experience!! XD

HE BEGAN HIS GOOD WORK IN ME

Today(19 March 2010) during cell group, God spoke to me about how my personality and behavior affects my advancement in my life. He talks to me about how inconsistent I was and about my bad habits as well.

God helped me realize that I still got many things to improve on in my life, but at the same time He reminded me that me and all of us are the carriers of the work of God therefore I must not let anything affect or contaminate what I carry in my heart.

I must shut down the works of the enemy, every lies of the enemy in my mind. I really thank God that He reminded me of this so I will not stay the same Albert but I will change. I know He began a good work in me, He will complete His work in me.

God is faithful and He trust in all of us.

He is always there waiting for us, until we're ready to take on the world!
Every challenges or problems, its all part of the test to train me to be better.
I must not let any one of these things stop me from pursuing God!

BREAKTHRU'S IN HK Part 2

Part 2
When GOD put you in a place, He has a reason and He will see that you made it through with HIM by your side. As you read the background of my project in Part 1, during the troubled times that I went through, GOD was gracious and He prepared all the things for me.

HE knows things cannot be fulfilled within 1 month (launching the project in April 2009), He extended the time for the project to make it possible (extended until Jan 2010).

HE send the enemy to become my ally and helped me instead. The customer hired their own project manager to improve the coordination at their end, he is a more senior and experience person. Under the hostile condition, GOD has miraculously made the Customer’s project team to be at peace with us and we were able to work well as a team subsequently. I have actually learned a lot from the customer’s Project Manager and sometimes he even helped/guided me in many ways which contributed to the project.

GOD knows my weaknesses, He had send helpers (Customers’ project manager) to assist me to address my weaknesses. Praise the Lord.
The LORD your God ye shall fear; and he shall deliver you out of the hand of all your enemies.

Sis Kim Suan once encouraged me saying that you don’t have to worry about your incapability, GOD place you there to be different and people will see that, it is not about you, it is about GOD. The people surrounding you will see the difference and you will stand out.

True enough, the customer’s strongly insisted that I have to continue to work in this project and see through until the end of the project. I heard that, in one of the Management meeting, the customer used me as a bargaining object threatening my company that they will not make the next payment if my company does not commit me to be in this project until the end. I was shocked to hear that for I felt a bit ridiculous that they looked too highly on me as I am just an ordinary person doing a decent job.

I was worried that the customer was mislead, as a lot of the contribution comes from the Team members and the Customer’s Project Manager who had also indirectly guided me a lot in many ways and I do not want to take the credit away from him and the project team. It was everyone’s hardwork.

Therefore I humbled myself and on one occasion I took the opportunity to speak to the Customer’s Director of the company and explained that the credit comes from the team and not me alone and their Project Manager was the main contributor. I was surprised by what the Director told me, he said something like the following (Not exact words but the similar meaning) ‘Yes, we know that he is more experience and it doesn’t matter who is leading who. The reason that we would like you to continue to work in this project is because that throughout these period (pass 8 months), both team had foster a good working relationship and cooperating very well.

We would like to continue to maintain the same working relationship to keep the momentum moving to complete phase 1.2 and phase 1.3. The management feels like you are the lucky charm that bring good luck to the project’. (Non-believers believes in lucky charm because they did not know GOD) After these words, I felt some sort of a relieved as I understand, that they were not mislead.

From then I understood what Sis Kim Suan says earlier, you are placed there to make a difference and influence others. I then can further relate to the verse, Palsm 84:6 ‘walking through the valley of Bacca’. ‘As they pass through the Valley of Baca, they make it a place of spring; the autumn rains also cover it with pools’ Even though the Valley of Baca is a valley of death, and if GOD wants us to walkthrough the valley, we obey GOD’s words and walk in accordance to his plan and will, HE will be with us all the way through it. HE will turn the surroundings of the valley of death into spring which bring forth life. In short, it means, GOD will use us to change the environment around us and bring forth life from death.

I am glad that even of my incapabilities, GOD guided me, send forth helpers to assist, made my enemies my ally so that things will work for good.

At many times the Pastor’s sermon in Hong Kong was sharing the same verses at the same weekend as what Belinda is hearing in Malaysia as well. Eg. Psalm – Valley of Bacca. The chapter were quoted on the same Sunday in Hong Kong and Malaysia’s sermon. This is really something wonderful as GOD was talking to Me and Belinda at the same time.

WOW, our GOD is really GREAT & MIGHTY…. AMEN. Lastly I want to thank TCC Church member’s who had constantly prayed for me throughout these period.

BREAKTHRU'S IN HK Part 1

To explain a bit about the background of my work in Hong Kong(HK),

My boss roughly briefed me about the status of a project in Hong Kong during Nov 2008 and I was aware of some of the problems during that time. I was then requested to assist to work the Project in Hong Kong at end of Feb 2009 and was told that it is suppose to be implemented by 1st of April 2009 for phase 1. Therefore I was told to assist to work towards implementing the system by then as it is very crucial to the customer and I assume that I will be working in Hong Kong for a short period of time, maybe about 2-3 months.

As I heard this, I felt the tremendous pressure on this project. To simply elaborate, the project was running for about a 9 months and I am suppose to go into the project and within 1 month, I need to set things in order and make sure it can be launched….. Wow, just imagine how pressure it would be ?. I really needed a miracle to do that. I analyzed and reply my boss that I do not have the confident as I cannot make things happen within 1 month, however I will do my best to make it happen.

As I share this with Sis Kim Suan and others, I was encouraged that with GOD’s strength and by His will, if I am placed there in the project, He will make things happen, there is a purpose.

Therefore I came to Hong Kong in end of Feb 2009, the customer was impressed by my presence in the project, they insisted my boss to place me under this project until the end. I tried my best, however the system was not able to kick off 1st April. I was very discouraged at first as I feel that I failed to make things happened. A series of event started to happen, our relationship with the customer is turning sour and things went on until the extent of considering legal actions against my company. After much negotiation between the management of both company, things started to change and the relationship was restored. However, the project is still facing a lot of problems.

During the month of April and May, we started to re-plan the project and during this period it was quite a hostile situation as the relationship with the customer was in bad terms. After the re-planning, miraculously we were able to negotiate and extended the project into 3 sub phases. Which was phase 1.1 – implement Jan 2010, phase 1.2 – implement Jun 2010 and phase 1.3 – implement Dec 2010. Just imagine, it was further extended into another 20 months. Really a miracle again for we are able to extend the implementation and Customer relationship restored.

And here we are now Jan 2010 and we have managed to implement phase 1.1 successfully.

In these hard and troubled times for the past 10 months, I experienced emotion roller coasters, uncertainty, discouragement, overwhelming, frustration, …etc but I overcame each of it by trusting in HIS WORD, knowing that His words would always remain. I pray to GOD and TCC Church member’s also prayed along during these periods. I have then experience GOD’s grace in my life and I would like to share how great is HE in the part 2 of my testimony.

KEEP PUSHING FORWARD

Hi, my name is Felicia Loo and I come from Penang (part of Malaysia). This holiday, I went to visit my cousin’s family in Kuala Lumpur.

During this period of time, I went to their church for Sundays or for cell groups and Youth Meeting. Now, I want to share with you about my experience here in their church.

Firstly, I was touched by the Holy Spirit strongly. When we worship, I felt that I was in a higher dimension than before and I was also able to linger in the presence of God. I learned a lot of things here and God spoke to me and gave me vision.

I can still remember that once in their cell group, He told me: I am with all of you, I am your guide. Heavens will open and so will your hearts. Though this is my 2nd time to their cell group only, but once the presence of God filled me, I was able to connect with what they’re teaching and what God is speaking, which is “open heavens”. Another time was in the Youth Meetings. God said that we’re in Zion now and no one can stop us from worshiping God because His presence is here, and we are in Zion to worship and praise Him.

God also gave me a vision, I saw water and many seeds. The water is God’s presence while the seeds are us. Once the water fell upon the seeds, they began to grow. It’s just like how we’ll grow when the presence of God touched or filled us.

Besides of receiving words and visions, I was strongly touched by the sharing of the word and felt that I should change when I was reminded that we shouldn’t keep playing and not spend time with God. Once I got back to Amy’s house (where I stayed during the holidays) I talked with God before I slept and I continued to talk with Him even for the rest of the nights and I will do that even when I go back to Penang (before this, I seldom talked to Him).

This experience is great and I will keep on pushing forward when I go back to Penang. I thank God for touching me and for opening up my hearts. Praise the Lord, Amen~ ~ ^_^

We believe this is the YEAR OF THE UNUSUAL where many miracles would begin to break out in our lives.
God has spoken to us as a church that Zion would no longer be just a word but a reality. This is the year where God is coming to us!

We are rallying to do all that we can to attract Him and to have Him stay with us. That is why we are ready to adjust our lives and to do the following CONSISTENTLY & PASSIONATELY:-

1. Staying accurately connected by hearing His word and responding to it.

2. Have a renewed mind- a mind of possibilities.

3. Willing to break free from our routine and to do things differently.

Yes! YEAR 2010 is the year of the unusual, the year where many miracles would begin to breakout from our lives.

T.E.A.M

I took part in a training held in church called TEAM. I have learned a lot of things in this training but the one that touches me the most is about covenant shared by Sister Nancy. Before TEAM, we had already learned about covenant in church. But after that training, God revealed more to me about covenant.

Covenant is more than a contract, it is a walk of faith. We as sons in the church need to discover and live this covenant relationship so that there’s honor among one another in the house. In Ruth chapter one, we can see that Ruth’s relationship with Naomi is more than a daughter in law. As sons, we must see that our lives and never apart from our Father. When we apart from him we have no life and no future.

Covenants are very important and sacred as covenants are unchangeable and it carries the generational blessings and transfer of legacy, inheritance and lineage. It also brings forth protection and peace.

I want to thank God for revealing all these to me. It's in understanding COVENANT, that has help me grow into another level of maturity in my spiritual life.

Our church held a fantastic training called Training Effective Apostolic Minister (T.E.A.M). Of course, I participated in this training.

All of us need to write something that we’ve learned that touched us. At first my mind was blank and I didn’t really care about it so I asked Sis. Kim Suan, : “What should I write?”. She told me: “There must be something that had touched you, isn’t it?” . Well, it does make sense so I decided to flip through my notes when I’m home.

I remembered that both my leaders (Sis. Kim Suan and Sis.Laffy) have told us a lot of times that when you read through your notes again and again, God will release new things to you so that’s what I did.

What touched my heart greatly was on the topic of “The Distinctive Marks of Breakthrough Believers”. This has actually been taught in Sunday School. There are four points on it and the point I want to share is Breakthrough Believers are able to move under intense pressure (2nd point). This is when I realized that I can breakthrough my fears, I’ve pioneered before and what is lack of me being a breakthrough believer is that I can’t control myself when I have pressure or problems. Though maybe there will still be some other features that I do not have but I’m sure I’ll be able to find it out.

I recalled my memory and notice that whenever I’ve pressure on my studies, or pressure from my friends…etc, I never succeed on handling it properly by my own, mostly, I would ask my leaders to help. Like last week, my teacher was so worried that we would not get good results for next year’s UPSR that she kept repeating, “You all must get ready for nest year’s major exam!” That I felt so tired of it. At the year end, I’m always used to doing my own things and not studying but now, all my teachers kept pushing us and giving us homework and telling us to study. I kept complaining and felt fed up. But after learning from T.E.A.M, I’m sure I’m able to control myself and move under intense pressure!

Praise God for releasing new things to me again!

Through T.E.A.M I learned that I must not lose out or give up when life's hard, I am to sustain intense pressure, just like what one of the trainer quoted from Rocky that says, 'Its not how hard you can hit, its how hard you can get hit and move on', because quitters are losers.
Many people give up doing their projects or work half way, successors like Louis Pasture, he didn't give up no matter what. He know that by doing this he will save many lives in the generations to come.
I also learned that it is useless when you have knowledge and doesn't know how to use it, its like a computer without a motherboard. It is more effective for one to learn from the experienced.
I also learn that when one receives revelation, he is to act upon it. God will give responsibility to him.

GOD IS SOVEREIGN

Last night I came a cross an email (printed copy) from Stephanie. The email was a description of what had happened during that Friday night in cell group as they (in Seri Gombak) tagged on in the spirit with Amy and I (we were in Muar for ITIP). As I reread the email which recorded many prophecies that was released by some of them during that night, I was overwhelmed with God’s loving kindness and faithfulness, that tears just begin to flow.

It’s been about three months and many things have transpired throughout this period. As I reflect back, I could see God’s wisdom, grace, love and faithfulness upon each one of their lives.

The prophecies were released on June 13; I still remember that Stephanie posted in this blog what happened that night in cell group. Refer post June 29.

The following are some of the excerpts of the prophecies:-

Steph: "Once you hear His Word, speak it out. Don't keep it. There will a breakthrough today!"

Edwin: "We will receive His Holy Spirit and also a new mindset in us. The Holy Spirit will cause our mind and thinking pattern to be stronger and stronger."

Peter: "God has said this many times but He will say it again. There will be One Malaysia. Equalization of resources…..

Vanessa: " God is molding us in every area of our life. We will be the one who will never give up. We will handle things in a different manner and handle things that even adults cannot handle! People will never see us as normal children.

Eric: "A new breed of people will arise. This new breed of people will not be affected by what people say; They will move in God's way and finish the race to prove it."

Edwin:"We are united as one; When one of us breakthrough, the others will have breakthrough too. Together we will arise to the next level."

Below are some of things that transpired within these three months:-

1. Our Prime Minister and the government has been stressing on this so greatly that many actions/steps are taken to ensure that this 1Malaysia becomes a reality.

Yea!!!! God is sovereign and He is working in our nation. A NEW MALAYSIA IS HERE!!

2. God is molding each one and I can see how some of them begin to rise through every trial and learn to handle matters like family problems which sometimes adults would have given up but yet they are determined to fight on and not be overwhelmed by all these problems. They fight their own emotions and mind to keep themselves pure so that they are not contaminated by anger and bitterness.

3. I see them pushing in the spirit to draw even closer to Him and holding on to His words firmly even when the enemy tries to intimidate them by attacking their character. They learning to fortified their mind and thinking patterns with His words and not be affected by what people like their school/college friends say about them when they refuse to participate things that is not right. Those whom in the past does not put in effort in their studies, I can see them changing and putting in effort to be diligent as they refuse to be bound by their old mindset. Yes, they are choosing to reign in life and in righteousness.

As a cell leader and friend, I have seen how within these three months how each one of them begin to learn to fight their own battles, overcome it victoriously and of all begin to mature in Him. I realize that those words released on June 13, were really words of assurance and reminder to all of us that God is Sovereign as He knows and holds the future and that what He had said, it’s done!

That’s why guys (kids and youth of the cg)! we must never give up because God has put an ingredient in us that we would never let Him go!! We are fighters that would fight al the way till the end! We are the new breed without greed! We are the true sons that would rise to anticipate the father’s heart! We would finish His course for His kingdom and glory!!!

O LORD, YOU REIGN IN THE HEAVENS AND EARTH!

The Lord will make you the head, not the tail. If you pay attention to the commands of the Lord your God that I give you this day and carefully follow them, YOU WILL ALWAYS BE AT THE TOP, NEVER AT THE BOTTOM.

So do you believe me now? I hope so. I never thought that I could beat an expert in all the subjects in my class even in my dream! But now, it came true. Not in my dream of course but in reality. Guess what? I got the first place in English essay competition! It was almost unbelievable! All thanks and gory to God! Thank God for giving great leaders to me like Sis. Kim Suan, Sis. Laffy, Eric, Edwin, Steph., Shawn, Pastor and Aunt Nancy.

Sis. Kim Suan taught me in Sunday school that when I have the wisdom, intelligence and excellence that God gave + my own effort and hardwork, I will be the top! God gave you wisdom, intelligence and excellence too! Just put in your own effort and hardwork and you will succeed! Find your talents and improve it! God bless!

It’s very popular and many teenagers, adults…etc.
Even kids play Facebook and Friendster!

Do you know that if you are under 12 years old, you can’t play it. You are considered as underage. Almost half of my classmates play these games. But I know that I should be patient and wait until I can play.

I know I can cheat my age because there’s no harm but that would mean I won't reign in righteousness and in life.

I want to reign in righteousness and in life!!

A lot of my friends told me that I should go and have one account but I rejected. Maybe you think I am a religious nut but I’m not! I’m telling the truth!

The main point I’m telling is that whatever we do, we must reign in righteousness and in life and also not to believe people’s word easily.

ACCURATE PARTNERSHIP

Last Sunday, our church had a couple to share the word of God. It was the first time for the wife, the husband complimented her when he took over the mike after the wife had shared. :) It was so sweet and blessed to see husband and wife serving God and living their live as a team. They shared about how to have an accurate partnership and why we need to have the right partners to finish our race to destiny.

Before the couple started to preach, Pastor Paul Kim talked about Acts 6 - Seven person was chosen to deal with a problem. These 7 chosen one were not fearful but even brave enough to settle the problem! They rose up to help Peter and released him to further his journey. So does this couple. Pastor was pleased that day, just like a father attending his children graduation.

I was so privilege to be their interpreter. The other 2 senior interpreters were not around that day, so I thought I am all by myself this time! Unexpectedly, not only Sis.KimSuan (She is English-educated and does not read Chinese characters, yet she can interpret!!! Powerrrrr~) was there to help me but some Chinese speaking aunties also helped me. Haha. I am so thankful to have them! They can interprete!!! These aunties are so cute, they smile at you as they correct your mistakes and continue to encourage you to improve.

Pastor concluded the message by reemphasizing how important it is to have accurate partnership. Whatever that was spoken that day was actually happening during the service. Isn't that awesome?

A Chinese proverb says: An elderly at home is a treasure at home. (家中一老是一宝)

When we are all accurately connected to each other, we synergize our efforts, multiply our strength and generate greater impact. Every strength make a difference. :) I thank God for these people in my life!

GOD'S WORD

I followed some of our church members to the conference ‘IYC’ in Muar. During that week, God did many amazing things in my life. I learned a lot from Papa Jonathan David too. I believe that God really spoke to me through Papa.

When Papa says: When we face problem, DON’T pray. Prayer is not going to solve the problem. I was shocked, and I know I wasn’t the only one that was shocked. In my mind I said: What? Don’t pray? Then what shall we do? I always pray when I face problem, isn’t that the way to solve the problem? He went on saying: Prayer is not going to solve the problem, what is going to solve the problem is God’s word! And that’s the moment I solve all my confusion. God isn’t going to help us solve every single problem when we pray.

I also shared this to Sis. Stephanie. She says that I should look through the bible and find verses that will encourage me when I face problems. Let me give you an example. When we have no faith in God, we can read the story of David and Goliath in 1 Samuel 17. In this chapter, we can know that David, who is just a young man, can kill Goliath, who is a 9 feet tall giant. David have strong faith in God, he killed Goliath easily by throwing stones.

When God gave us challenges, we are the one that is going to overcome it. God will only give us challenges when He thinks that we are ready to face it. God has given us the tools that we need to overcome the challenge, and we are going to use it and achieve victory!

GOD IS MY STRENGTH

I learned so many things in IYC. Life is never the same anymore.

During IYC, we were told to pray and push in the spirit every morning. "Pray like it is the last time to pray to God." someone said. Everyone of us decided to turn away from our old life and to make a firm decision like Daniel - to live a life, set apart for Him. I want to be the student of His Word!!!

I used to wake up at 5:15am to rush to work. (and only arrive home at 8pm) Now, I wake up at 4:30am for a God encountering moment before starting my busy day. I did not pray or ask God if I should do that or ask Him how to do, I just did it. He has given me everything I needed to build His Kingdom. I want His presence, His fresh word and His Holy Spirit.

I have been doing that without failing since I came back from IYC. I almost gave up the second day as there are so much work undone, in the end, I only sleep for 5 hours. When the alarm rings, I wanted to sleep longer. It must be the Holy Spirit who quicken my spirit. My spirit took charge and I woke up.

On the 3rd day, I only sleep for 4 hours. You know what, I do not feel tired physically. Infact, I feel more fresh! Seriously, I don't know how it happens but I am glad it does! This is something I never knew I can breakthrough that easily.

I used to sleep in the bus and feel tired the whole day in work. Now, I even listen to sermon mp3 through my cell phone and stay fresh alert in work! My colleague just asked me why am I so smiley. :D~ It is His Spirit that keeps me strong, His Word that guides me and His presence that accompanies me.

This is so fun! It is only the 4th day of my new lifestyle. I will not give in to the lies of the enemy!! This IS my new lifestyle!! Everyday is getting more exciting as I see miracles happening in my own life!!

It doesn't matter what the word is becoming because I know who I am becoming!!!

HUMILITY

During this holiday, I participated in the “IYC” conference in Muar. Plenty of things happened there…amazing things that God has done…

First of all, I want to ask you whether you know what’s the true meaning of “humble” mentioned in the bible. Maybe some of you will think it means not to be proud just like what I thought it was. But actually, it means that a person that is humble and is a high achiever not just ownself but for OTHERS. People with humility are also hardworking people, they will always help others to be where they are. I have always thought I was humble, that is until last Thursday.

Dr. Jonathan David’s daughter, Joanne, separated all the primary students and all the secondary school students each into a group, including me. At first, I was very unhappy because I don’t want to be in a “children’s group”, I felt that my level was higher, at that moment, I started to become proud, but I didn’t even notice it.

I complained this separation thing to my leader, Sis. Laffy. After she heard this, she immediately told me I’m beginning to be proud, she said: “You may be a level higher than the other children, but you must know that God did this for a purpose.”, I felt quite hurt because everybody in school has been saying I’m humble, but I took her word seriously, and change my attitude.

Joanne did not manage to find a leader for our group so everybody voted me and Nicole (my best friend) to be the temporary leader. I noticed that all of the kids won’t open their mouth and lift up their hands to worship God. I pushed them like how Sis. Kim Suan did to us and it worked! About a day later, they spoke in tongues strongly and lift up their hands to worship God, besides that, our relationship also got better and better.

It was through this I learned that being humble means "HELPING OTHERS TO ACHIEVE THE LEVEL WHERE I AM NOW!" I really hope that all the people in the group would continue to have this strong passion for God, truly, God is AMAZING..!!!!

KINGDOM IS IN US

7 of us from TCC took bus to Muar to attend International Youth Conference (IYC) for a week. I have many questions before going to IYC. I need a new revelation of present truth to quicken my spirit which is tired of routine.

When we arrived, all seven of us were separated into different prayer groups according to our age and gender. I met awesome girls from various nations (Malaysia, Indonesia, Australia, Jakarta, England, Philippines and South Africa), we just click at first prayer. Prayer, God. That's how we connect with each other in regardless of background, culture, education level, language, size or color.

"Whatever I have, I am not the owner but the steward."

This is the sentence I needed to hear from Him. My time, finance, skills and talents are all His. Being faithful is not about keeping something well but have multiplying capability.

"How many times we use God's word for our purpose?"

"Instead of building His Kingdom, we build our own little kingdom?"

God shows me that there are so many people who are connected to His heart desire. They are seeking God so intensely like I do. Seeking Him, nothing else but Him. I learned that God's Kingdom is in my heart. His Kingdom is His presence.

"In the beginning, God..."

There was nothing before God, everything came out of Him. So His Kingdom = Him

His Kingdom be established = His presence, His words, His Spirit be established

Holy Spirit is essential. When we are so skillful, we tend to skip over Holy Spirit. How could we understand God better without the Holy Spirit. There are so many things to share and it can't be explained briefly.

I love my Bible so so so much now. All because of Holy Spirit that teaches me how to feel the Father's heart. Now, I am much more careful with my life as I not only carry HOLY spirit but God's Kingdom in me!

STRENGTHEN BY HOLY SPIRIT

This is my first time to International Youth Conference (IYC) in Muar. I feel so excited that I could be there. The purpose for me to be here is be built to be more like Christ and bring the impartation back to church.

During the first session, the speaker Dr. Jonathan David (papa) said we can attend the conference not because we want to but it is God who want us to be there. I feel so honored to be chosen to be in IYC. Just few weeks ago, I was worrying about accommodation before this as all the rooms were fully booked!

I was arranged to be in 1984 male group and I was alone, I mean the only TCC member in the group. When we start to pray within the group for the first time, I held back as I was afraid that I couldn’t pray as good as others. Then the Holy Spirit prompted me to pray, I felt such a strong force in me whereby the Holy Spirit wants to break free.

That's when I realised my flesh was controlling me so I shut down the lie that was holding me back. The Holy Spirit guide me as I pray out loud. I feel good and excited as I allow the Holy Spirit to flow out. Although each one of us are from different nations but when we pray together, we are like one holy race. When Papa taught us on how to be strengthen by Holy Spirit, I am very excited as I am slow in building my spirit and lack of intensity. in my prayer/worship. After the listening to papa's teching, I read the notes few times as I want my spirit to be strengthen before I come back.

All of my group members have the same desire, we want to push all out without being limited by our sore throat or flu. We pray like it is the last day to praise unto God. I saw a vision : the living water in us starts to fill the dry well until it is full. The excess water starts to flow out like a river over a dry hot dessert and once the water passes through the desert, grasses are growing all over the area, flowers are blooming, seeds are growing into big trees, trees are bearing fruits that draw all living creature. In the dessert, there is a river with many fishes and this river draws all men from different nations to drink from it, this is because it is the living water.

I thank and praise God for allowing me to be there to build my spirit into another higher level. I become more hungry for His Word to build my inner man in order to be more like Christ. It is great to dwell in His presence all the time.

ONE IN HIM

Prayer Meeting on the 31^st July 2009.

Pastor was sharing on the direction for tonight’s prayer meeting. He wanted all of us to combine our hearts and pray for our combine cell group. He went on to explain further on the purpose for combining the cell group.

Purpose for combine cell group:-

To instill better integration.
To build honor and respect for leadership
To provide training for leaders and others
To build the same pattern into life.

It was his heart felt cry to see that the church begin to rise above every limitations such as race, culture, language and age so that we can be integrated as ONE BODY IN HIM. Pastor has always stressed on the importance of oneness(integration) and unity must first be established in the house so that we the church can be the model for others.

As we begin to unite our hearts together and pray for the above, we could felt that His Holy Spirit moving in our midst. Our hearts and mind were tuned, making the atmosphere conducive for the Holy Spirit to move freely in our midst and to stir in our hearts and spirits on being ONE IN HIM.

Words of prophecies, prayers, visions, music and songs were being released by different individuals regardless of age but they were all centralized on being ONE IN HIM.

Pastor felt so strongly in his spirit about being in oneness that it reminded him of the day of Pentecost in the book of Acts where the people were all gathered together in one place and were filled with the Holy Spirit. Some of the words and visions released:

“One in Him, One in heart, One in spirit, One in mind, One in purpose, One in destiny”

Vision: “ I see a cake. The cake is made of different kind of ingredients. All of us are the different kind of ingredients in the cake. When we are combined together, we become one cake.”

At the same time, as this vision was released, Ps. Nancy was reading Romans 12:3-8,

“¹ I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service. ² And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God. ³ For I say, through the grace given to me, to everyone who is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think, but to think soberly, as God has dealt to each one a measure of faith. ⁴ For as we have many members in one body, but all the members do not have the same function, ⁵ so we, being many, are one body in Christ, and individually members of one another. ⁶ Having then gifts differing according to the grace that is given to us, let us use them: if prophecy, let us prophesy in proportion to our faith; ⁷ or ministry, let us use it in our ministering; he who teaches, in teaching; ⁸ he who exhorts, in exhortation; he who gives, with liberality; he who leads, with diligence; he who shows mercy, with cheerfulness. “

It’s with these scriptures that she confirmed the above vision and encouraged all of us that we may differ in our gifting but we are all one in Him. Later on, Ps. Nancy ended the prayer meeting with a word of exhortation from John 15: 4

“ ⁴ Abide in Me, and I in you..”

Indeed we knew the Holy Spirit was knitting our hearts together as one as a church in Christ to finish the purposes of God on this earth. We are here as ONE IN HIM TO ADVANCE HIS KINGDOM ON THIS EARTH!

REFLECTIONS BY THE 'MOTHER OF THE HOUSE' (Part 3)

God is absolutely marvelous and wonderful! He has been showing me the intricate yet beautiful tapestry of His sovereign workings. As in the book of Esther, I am convinced that some events, experiences, encounters and even education that occurred in an individual’s life are not just humanly decided or designated, but are divinely designed and propelled.

Getting Acquainted

It was August 2003 and I was in USA preparing to pursue a Doctorate in Psychology at Rosemead University, California, when my sister brought Pastor and I together. Thanks to the Internet – no wonder Jesus said we will do greater things than what He had done (John 14:12, paraphrased); the era we are living in has advanced tremendously compared to Jesus’ lifetime on earth – so that without physically meeting in person, Pastor and I could get to know each other despite the distance and the oceans between us. Although we had been exchanging emails for some months, I had no idea whatsoever of his looks as Pastor did not know how to send his pictures through the Internet. (Yeah, I was writing to a faceless person)

Coming Home to Malaysia

In most of my plans and decisions, I wanted God’s will to be done in my life so I shared my concerns (about further education & this relationship with Pastor) to 2 of my Christian fellow-workers at the women’s rehabilitation center where I volunteered (see Proverbs 15: 22 & Proverbs 12:15). Talking things out with credible confidants and hearing their feedback and perspective has a way of clearing my mind & my spirit; I felt led to return to Malaysia.

Flying homewards on board the Korean Air, I cannot help but wonder about Rebecca’s thoughts and feelings as she journeyed with Abraham’s elderly servant to meet the man she was going to marry – Isaac – whom she had never set eyes on (please read Genesis 24 – it’s a moving God-guided romance). Unlike Rebecca though, where Isaac was able to receive her and love her (at first sight?), my initial experience with Pastor was not that remarkable . . .

“He remembered . . .”

In the book of Esther, Chapter 2: 1b, we find that King Xerxes “remembered Vashti and what she had done and what he had decreed about her . . .” (NIV)

In remembering his ex-Queen, I believe the King not only recalled the final days of her unfortunate disposal, but also the early experiences they shared and lived together; how she stood by him, worked with him, grew together with him in his kingly position and power – and these memories may have caused grief and remorse within his soul.

Meeting me in person, Pastor could not help but remembered the romances, the joys and pains that he shared with his beloved late wife . . .

The Father of the House

I have heard it said that when men fall, it’s because of the 3 ‘Gs’: Girls, Gold and Glory . . .

Being married to Pastor for more than four years now, I can certainly vouch that with regards to the first ‘G’ – Girls, he keeps his marriage vows firmly by guarding his thoughts and mannerisms towards other ladies. Perhaps it was this commitment to be faithful and true that caused him to grapple with the actuality of getting married again.

Second ‘G’ – Gold; there is no question of his honesty and accuracy in this matter of dollars and cents. He does not like to owe people money neither does he appreciate it if people owe him. Where church funds are concerned, he is careful not to embezzle it and whenever possible, he would personally cut cost to help the church save in its expenditure.

Third ‘G’ – Glory; in his 15-year tenure as Pastor of TCC, he had been a ‘Mr. Nice Guy of few words’. Functioning in that capacity as a ‘nice’ man (‘nice’ is not the fruit of the Holy Spirit), Pastor – from people’s feedback to me – was seen as ‘soft’ and extremely complying; complying not just to people but also to circumstances. But God in His mercy, is molding Pastor, shaping him, realigning and readjusting his grasp and understanding of the apostolic Word so that he grows in his spiritual stature. Pastor is presently rising to be the head, the father of the house with a conviction that will not be shaken or derailed. Accepting this leadership role as father of the house, however, did not in any way pump up his pride and arrogance – he remains a simple, teachable and affable person.

By adhering and living out the values of loyalty, integrity, honesty and simplicity in the areas of the 3 ‘Gs’, the father of the house hopes to set the precedence and standard for the generation to come.

Partners of Honorable Relationship

I’ve been to a conference in Muar. Many things happened there that hit me strongly and touched my heart deeply. Dr. Jonathan David was preaching about a lot of things. I received so much that now I want to share part of it with you.This is an area that speaks very deeply to me

One of the things I learn from there was about “Partners of Honorable Relationship”. Pastor is finding some of the people that have these characteristics:

A) Builders: those who know how to build a accurately with Him as He is the wise master builder (He as in God)

The builders must know how to build an atmosphere during worship. We must also be willing to move together, don’t just let your leaders or your pastor to keep pushing while you take your own sweet time and don’t help them.

B) Gatekeepers: The people who have power to open and shut down hell not the other way round. Must know how to different shape.

C) Watchmen: Read movements of the spirits. They sound the alarm to the gatekeepers. They must know how to listen carefully to the voice of the spirit. 1Corinthians 3: 8, 9, 10: We must learn how to build the house on the foundation. If you want to know who/what are the foundations. Psalms 11: 3: Christ is the foundation that we must build Christ in every person. Watchmen must sit on the walls looking at the movements of the Spirit ( Devil/ Holy Spirit) by doing this, you can ask the Holy Spirit to help you.

D) Wise men: Those who know the season and time to act.
Those who act and run with the word of God are wise men. Wisdom allows us to build. We must go to the nations not because we’ve the opportunity but because He sent us.

E) Beloved: those who know a level of intimacy to do all things pleasing in His sight.Those who’re ever willing to do what He wants them to do and those who have that passionate heart to seek Him.

F) Fathers: those who begets and produce sons in the house.
No need to be a high-trained Father just be one.

G) Warriors: Those who train their sons to finish their assignment in destiny. Psalms 127: 3, 4

H) Rulers: those who rule the city through the apostolic base. They’ve power to negotiate the outcomes of the battle at the gates.

I) G2 Warriors: those who’s risen to stand alongside with their Father.

J) Right Strategic man: People who will create significant moves on the earth.
Men who are available and are able to fight the war with the warriors. We must be available at all times and try our best to do whatever our leaders or pastor tells us to do.

WHAAAAAaaaaAATT????!!!!!!
(Okay, I just got the shock of my life)

I began interpreting (English-Mandarin)... back in April. Ever since I joined my current company, I have been given intensive interpretation assignments. It was (and it is still) never in my mind that I would be doing interpreting. Maybe casually but for professional purpose.... @_@

First ever interpreting assignment was given by Ps. Nancy, to interpret her teaching notes. That was fine but I took a while to interpret the few pages of notes. My primary school level mandarin was put to work again, intensive work. And that's where everything begin.

I casually put translating as one of my skills in my resume and I believe that ,that was one of the main reasons why I was hired in regardless of my education background that doesn't match the job requirements at all. That's when I was FORCED to do lots of professional interpretation. I had a hard time because I was not familiar with electronics and business jargon, what more with my limited mandarin vocabulary.

It is because I am so actively doing interpretation for my work, I begin to be more sensitive to the interpreter on Sunday Service in church. Pastor once said,

I was sitting here and I heard someone at the other corner was helping the interpreter with some words, that's when I know we have a new interpreter.

Hilarious. But it is an honor to me. Honestly, I once have the thought of picking up interpretation and planned to go through some interpreting trainings. Unfortunately, I am always occupied with whole lots of things and have whole lots of things to do in my to-do-list. Besides, I almost failed my mandarin for UPSR and I was really not good at mandarin.

Now I can speak mandarin fluently for my interviews with CEOs and directors from the North Asia Pacific countries. Church has given me intensive training and abundant opportunity to sharpen my skills. On 19th July 2009, I was sent out for a mission - to interpret in another church.

I felt so honoured for this opportunity. And to be honest, I still got stuck here and there and failed to interpret some words accurately. Someone who was there back in April when I first interpreted told me that I have improved much! *phew!*

David was the most insignificant among his brother but God has chosen Him for greater purpose.

"The Lord does not see as man sees; for man looks at the outward appearance but the Lord looks at the heart." 1 Samuel 16:7

God looks for those hearts that are connected to His. Heart that is open to Him - to be shaped, sharpen, trained and tested. Regardless how insignificant you appear to be, God can turn the whole thing around when our hearts are yielded to Him. When you love someone deeply, it is not just the physical actions that shows but what is in the heart, is fundamental. Neither David nor Stephanie can be significant if it wasn't for God's favor.

"...And the Lord said, "Arise, anoint him; for this is the one!" ... and the Spirit of the Lord came upon David from that day forward." 1 Samuel 16: 12-13

I would never want to stop God from performing His miracles in my life. You will never know that something insignificant can be essential when God intervene! Keep our focus on Him! Build according to His purpose and follow His proceeding word! Not the situation around us, not who we think we are, not about our past either. (Outward appearance) God looks (present tense) at your heart!

Look at what God did in my life! When God there, everyday is a new day, a new beginning! After all, we are His son! We are set for succession! We are the Finishing Generation! The one who will FINISH the race!

BEING A GLOBAL LEADER IN SCHOOL

Whenever I've any problems, all I do is call up my leaders to help me solve the problem. My leaders have told me that I'm a global leader and I should learn to solve my own problem. I've never take heed of the world until this Thursday...

That morning, my friends were quarreling. I knew they wouldn't stop unless somebody stops them. My friends' name are Xin Ying and Ai Meng. Xin Ying broke Ai Meng's things but she doesn't admit it. She doesn't wants to buy her a new one.

As a global leader, I asked them what had happened so they told me everything, from head to toe. I found out that both of them were wrong so I told them and asked them to pay the cost of the belonging together. After I've told them what they've done wrong, they realized it and agreed to pay the cost together.

I felt very happy because this is the first time I stopped somebody from quarreling and solved the problem without my leaders!

WE ARE ONE

When I sent the sms mentioned in the previous posting by Stephanie, I really had to idea what to expect. All I know is that something is breaking out powerfully in Muar as we attend the Intensive Training for ISAAC Pastors (ITIP) conducted by Dr. Jonathan David.
I did not know how to explained it verbally but in my spirit I just knew all our people need to have what we are receiving in Muar. Hence forth, my simple sms was sent out to Stephanie and some of them, telling them to forward this sms to the rest.

Indeed that night(Friday, 12th June) itself, Amy and I were really pushing in the spirit to receive all that we can not just for us but for the rest as well as we know those back in KL are pushing and connecting in spirit with us. If only you could see Amy, she was literally out of voice but yet i could see her persistence in pushing in the spirit as I gently reminded her that it's about us as an individual but for the rest back home too. I'm really proud that she really break her limitation and pushed through. Even as we joined the rest of the participants in Muar and pushing into the spirit dimension, my mind had all the images of every individual in our cell group. All I wanted was that each one be able to receive what Amy and I are receiving. I'm not talking about exchanging of notes or messages but something deeper which is the IMPARTATION OF THE SPIRIT so that they could all carry it in their lives and this cannot be explained through mere words.

That's why when I called on Friday cell group night, Vanessa mentioned that they are still in worship (it was already 9.30pm) as they had words of prophecies and visions, I was amazed and glad. Stephanie took the effort to email me (at 12.30 midnight) a brief report of what had happened as they tagged on and connect with us in the spirit. I really appreciate all her effort! The following is her so called brief email to me...hahaha

Heya,

Greetings from Sri Gombak.

I have no idea how but we connected ourselves to all of you in Muar as we pray and push in the Spirit in Sri Gombak. It is not just a great experience for us but all of us are motivated and it also caused us to go up to a higher level!

We started Cell Group sharp at 8.30pm and ended around 11pm. Just worshiping in the spirit. At first it was bit slow, I reminded them about what you told us to do then we went full blast. Those kids blasted the place!! No one knows what to expect, we just know something will happen as we connect together with you guys in Muar. Few minutes later, God begin to speak, prophesy after prophesy were released.

Steph: "Once you hear His Word, speak it out. Don't keep it. There will a breakthrough today!"

Edwin: "We will receive new Holy Spirit and also a new mindset in us. A new kind of Holy Spirit will cause our mind and thinking pattern to be stronger and more stronger."

Peter: "God has said this many times but He will say it again. There will be One Malaysia. Equalization of resources, no beggar on the street! And we can be connected with those in Muar; receive what they are receiving. (The best is the following statement) When they come back, it is not sharing about what they learn there but we share what we experience together, even right now at this place!

Vanessa: " God is molding us in every area of our life. We will be the one who will never give up. We will handle things in a different manner and handle things that even adults cannot handle! People will never see us as normal children. (They already are living this!!!)

Steph: "Tonight is your night, to breakthrough, break your limitation. Each of everyone of you here will hear God's voice. Because you are His child. It is now, now is the time, your time has come."

Eric: "A new breed of people will arise. This new breed of people will not be affected by what people say; They will move in God's way and finish the race to prove it."

Felicia: "We will rise", "We will speak to the nations"

Gloria: "I saw a dirty bone. When the water is poured onto the bone, the bone became whiter and whiter until it became pure white. Then it is broken into pieces and is sent forth to the whole Earth. As the pieces of bone land on the Earth, the earth that was black immediately turn white!"

Eric: "The world system has ended. Kingdom system will rule the world!!!"

Edwin:"We are united as one; When one of us breakthrough, the others will have breakthrough too. Together we will arise to the next level."

Peter: "We are same in the Spirit. When one breakthrough, all others will breakthrough!"

And you called Vanessa somewhere in between...!!! Woah!! >_<>

God reminded us again that we can do all things through Him. And take our position as a true son, act like one, speak like one and live like one. We can hear His voice because we are His children. Oh, I said many things that I can't remember. Declared a lot about we are matured, we rise up to anticipate the Father's heart, be determined to finish the race, do the necessary to finish this race, etc.

Once I ended my prayer, Peter said :"This is the longest prayer!!" I told them we are pushing ourselves beyond our limitation!! See, now we know we can do it! and we can even do much better than this! No more soft soft half dead worship, our worship will go in STRONG!!! We got ourselves connected to those in Muar!

Also told them to keep the level where we stopped. and blast this Sunday church service!!!

Hooraayyy!!!

WE ARE ONE

It is very hard to really describe what took place in cell group on 12th June 2009.

We received a sms from Sis.KimSuan that reads: "Join Amy and I to push in the Spirit because something is breaking out here in Muar, so tag on. Continue to do this until Friday."

"Hmm. Ok.... Like how?" I wonder. Since Sis.KimSuan is not around, I will be leading the cell group and this instruction of hers is very very very new. In fact, she did not tell me how to do it. Heee. So just listen, obey and do. Holy Spirit is the best teacher right? haha

Cell group began at 8:30pm sharp and ends around 11pm. We just sang 1 song, a very short one in fact and the rest of the time was praying, speaking in tongue, prophesying and God encountering moment. This is where the tough part comes, I don't know how to describe to you how exactly we build a bridge or connect from Sri Gombak to Muar (which is around 150km apart). What happened that night was just awesome. Words fail me, seriously.

Since that night, our eyes are opened and minds are widen. No longer our mindset is set on ourselves but as a team. A team with God, TCC members, other pastors who are connected with us, last but not least with our dear nation, Malaysia. No longer we ask for our own portion but for His people, for His desire and for His nation. This relationship we have with God, Pastor Paul & Pastor Nancy, Malaysia and other pastors who are connected with us, just grew so close that night. This is because we are all connected to one source: God. In regardless of our distance, we work and think as one.

During Cell Group on 19th June 09, we tagged on to the Revival Conference in Ipoh, to push in together with papa Jonathan for Malaysia. After all these, we know one thing for sure that New Malaysia has arrived - Malaysia for all Malaysian, faces without races.;And the intimate relationship we have with God now is totally indescribable.

Now. this. is. life.

NEVER GIVE UP, KEEP TRYING !

I was appointed to share what I’ve learned in a conference during cell group. At first, when my leader called me to share, I was very nervous because I don’t know how to share by speaking what the Holy Spirit wants me to (just like my leaders) but I can only share by reading what I wrote.
But of course, I did not give up or say I don’t want to do it. I tried my best to share what I’ve to share. During cell group, I managed to share only a little bit without looking at my notes. Although I cannot share like how my leaders do, but I know that if I keep on trying I can do it!
Just like what my leaders said: No matter how tall the mountain is, if you don’t give up but keep climbing, one day the mountain will be under your footstool, you’ll be higher than the mountain!!!

REFLECTIONS BY THE ‘MOTHER OF THE HOUSE’ (Part 2)

Going to Muar in November 2006, and getting connected with Papa Jonathan David’s ISAAC network was the spiritual turning point for TCC. Things began to surface & to break out – both affirmatively and otherwise – depending on the heart condition of the believers. As a result of the meaningful positive changes that occurred in the lives of those who accepted and who flowed with the present revelation truth, this “Amazing News blog” was birthed. I find it absolutely heart-warming to note the expressions of thanksgiving, and /or acknowledgment of God’s wonderful grace in every aspect of our lives. I believe greater things are yet to come . . . but right now for me, I find myself finally ‘at home’ in TCC because the spiritual dynamics are beginning to take resemblance like that of my home church at GCC in KK.

The Bible Book of ‘Esther’

In the early days of our ISAAC connection (beginning 2007), a group of ladies initiated a monthly ladies’ fellowship. During that time I contemplated embarking a bible study with them & I chose the book of Esther. But while I was working on it, the group dissolved. This year (i.e. 2009) as I read the book of Esther again, another facet of revelation begins to unfold itself, one that I can fully relate with & which I will briefly share – please read the whole book of Esther!!

In Esther chapter 9, we read about the Jews (God’s chosen people) having the upper hand against their enemies. They were not only living but they were breaking out & breaking through with such confidence that ‘No one could stand against them’ (verse 2b), turning every situation around for their own good, to their own advantage. I have no doubt that after that designated day (see verse 1), every Jews ‘in all the provinces of King Xerxes’ (verse 2a) will have their own exciting stories or ‘amazing news’ to tell. I was impressed that such experiences & encounters were possible because of what took place at the palace in the earlier months.

At the Palace

Esther chapters 4, 5, 7 & 8, we see how Queen Esther worked & intervened on behalf of the Jews through her publicly inconspicuous (i.e. behind the scene) actions:

• Her fasting (4:16) – personal consecration before God
• Her coming before the King (5:1) – courage and availability at a great cost
• Her banquets with the King (5:4; 7:1) – required planning, preparation and
patience
• Her request & petition to the King (7:3, 4 & 8:5, 6) – the timing, the
choice & the presentation of her words were carefully selected.

Queen Esther’s selfless sacrifice, godly wisdom and graceful persistency resulted in the changes of the King’s attitude and decree towards the Jews. A new order or edict was written on their behalf permitting them the right to defend / protect for their lives on the designated day.

Queen Esther’s seemingly minor role in the palace was highly significant for without her, chapter 9 concerning the jubilee of the Jews, may not be written. Through Esther, I begin to see my role at the house and my relationship with Pastor as divinely predetermined . . .

BELIEVE IN GOD

On one Friday, I didn’t bring my Science textbook. I felt scared because if we don’t bring our books to school, our teacher will scold us and will punish us. Then I started to pray, hoping that God will help me. I prayed and prayed until my teacher comes. But at this time, I stopped praying but believing in what i had prayed. Then our science teacher asks us which one to learn, in mandarin or in English. Although a lot of wanted to learn science in English but our teacher wanted to teach us the science in mandarin. When I heard this, I felt very happy. Then I thank God that He heard my prayer.

REFLECTIONS BY THE ‘MOTHER OF THE HOUSE’ (Part 1)

Reading about the wonderful works that God is doing in the lives of our TCC members brings joy and fulfillment to my heart. Their amazing stories are like a beacon of hope to me personally as I reflect upon the events of our church for the past four years. (Yea, I have a tendency to ponder things in my heart, but this is not unusual for mothers, I think – see Luke 2: 19, 51)

“You Are the Man’s Wife . . .”

In March 2005, I was formally assimilated into the core of TCC by virtue of my marriage to the sole Pastor of the church. I had no idea what the role of a Pastor’s wife actually entails, but the words “Remember you are the man’s wife; not the pastor’s wife” from my Senior Pastor, Dr. William Vun, helped adjusted me in the early phase of my marriage. I felt that as the man’s wife, my primary function was to attend to his needs and to partner with him in the ministry.
My concept of partnering was to personally support, strengthen, sharpen and stand alongside him in areas of the emotional, spiritual, and intellectual; it was not to actively or necessarily fill up any physical or technical deficiencies in his services to the church, just as a lawyer’s wife,
a doctor’s wife or any other wife does not cover the lacks in their husband’s work or occupational career.

The Ladies’ Prayer Meeting

The spiritual climate of TCC in the early days of 2005 & 2006 was not like what I was used to at my home church, Glory Christian Center (GCC) in Kota Kinabalu (KK); I missed and longed for a consistency in our spontaneous excitement, passion and depths in our worship to God, in our understanding of the Word, and in our interpersonal relationship with one another.

Beginning 2006, when I heard of the Wednesday prayer meeting between Serena and Kim Suan at Serena’s top floor shop-lot, I invited myself to be their co-prayer partner. It was during those times of prayer together that I discovered Kim Suan and I were able to connect in the spirit as we cried out to God on behalf of TCC. In Matthew 18: 19, Jesus said “if two agree about anything . . . , it will be done by my Father in heaven”. Without a shadow of doubt, God heard our cries and acted. In June 2006, when GCC organized ‘School of Impacting Pastors’ (SIP), I convinced Pastor to release Kim Suan (with her prior consent & willingness,) from church administrative work for 2 weeks so that she could attend the SIP at KK.

Winds of Change

Upon Kim Suan’s return from KK, Pastor was amazed and affected by the positive changes he noticed in her. At his own will, Pastor started listening to the SIP CDs that I bought. God was definitely moving and working in his life. I was pleasantly surprised when one day, he finally consented to listen to the ‘Papa’ of my Senior Pastor. Just at the right timing too, I received an unexpected, first-time ever email from Jaya of Muar, informing that Dr. Jonathan David will be in KL. To ensure that Pastor would not back down on his word, I called Pastor Cyrus and Pastor Paul Smith – both of whom I have not known or met before – for details of Dr. Jonathan David’s KL meetings. (Boy, had I got to make many persistent phone calls cos’ they were not easily available! I later learned that they were on mission trips) Armed with the needed information, I reminded Pastor – “you promised you will go to Dr. Jonathan David’s meetings!”

It was August 2006, at FGA, which is off the Old Klang Road, KL that Pastor met and heard
Dr. Jonathan David for the first time after about 3 decades from their last encounter. Subsequently in November 2006, Pastor, Laffy and I travelled to Muar for our very first GEAR (God-Encounter Apostolic Reformation) and . . . the rest becomes His-Story!

OBEY THE RULES

I’ve always wanted to be the MC (Master of Ceremony) but I was never chosen by my teachers. So sad…

But one day, my dreams came true! It all happened on the 19th of May, 2009. One of the rules of my school says that you must go and line up after recess and you cannot go to your classroom alone. The library of my school is on the 1st floor while the place where I’m supposed to line up is at the ground floor. When I was coming back from the library, I was wondering should I go and line up or straight away go to my classroom. Alas, I decided to follow the right way. When I went downstairs one of my friend suddenly asked me: “Do you want to be the MC of the Chinese Language Story Telling Competition?” I was so surprised and I quickly nod my head.

See, if you follow the rules and obey God, don’t disappoint Him, He will bless you! But don’t do these things just to get the benefit!

BREAKTHROUGH YOUR FEARS!

Do you hate cockroaches? No? Yes? Well I hate, I hate them a lot!!! They are like creepy crawlies, with brown and dirty bodies, yuck!!!

Maybe you think that by “hating” them, I will always beat them, right? But, I’m different, I don’t dare to walk close them, they must be at least 10km away from me!

This few weeks, Sis. Kim Suan taught us that as breakthrough believers, you must breakthrough your fears. And I never took notice of that word. But then, on 17th of May, I saw an extra large cockroach in the kitchen, I was very frightened that I jumped and screamed: “Cockroach! Big cockroach! Daddy!” But my dad was not there that time. I actually wanted to run upstairs but then what Sis. Kim Suan taught us suddenly came to my mind, I quickly snatched a big stack of news paper and beat the cockroach, unfortunately, I lost the fight with the cockroach!

But instead of being disappointed, I was happy because I finally breakthrough my fear of cockroaches!

GOD'S WORD NEVER FADES AWAY

I still remember, last year I received the following prophecies from my pastor, Ps. Paul Kim.

1. I'm not to be easily shaken by what men say.
2. God wants to give me the understanding through His words.
3. God said, He will open my eyes and mind to see.

These 3 prophecies became so alive especially in my current situation.
Whoa!! I just don't know how to articulate my feelings in words except to say it's so real and great!
Upon receiving these prophecies, I did not see it come into fulfillment immediately. It really took me some time to realize that these words were coming into fulfillment now right before my very eyes.

When these prophecies spoken to me, I really have no idea what is it until the day I finished my National Service, I started to realize every of the prophecies revealed itself to me day by day. God's word NEVER fade away but always REMAINS!!!

My testing period came when I had to make a decision on choosing my course for further studies. During this period, I have a lot of doubt it my mind and my heart. When Sis Kim Suan and my brother in Christ, Edwin begin to speak to me, I realize that I've always depended on myself and my own mind/wisdom but not on God's words. It was at this time, I begin to see His words of prophecy about "understanding" coming into fulfillment as I begin to see and understand of His ways for my very life.

Finally, I chose a course and I will never regret in this decision of mine. I won't be affected or shaken by what other people say because one thing I am assured is that "God will prosper me in every area of my life."

Actually I have so many things that I would like to share that has happen just within this year 2009 itself as the list is endless.....haha
But I really thank God that as I yield to Him, He is always at work in my life everyday. I begin to see, my very life day by day being aligned to His very purpose. GOD IS GREAT!!!

YOU ARE THE CHANNEL FOR HEALING

Last Friday, we were praying for two request from our cell members.
1. Sis. Loo Sing mom needed healing for hypertension. She has been on prescribed medication but still could not control her blood pressure.
2. Sis. Lin Ing's husband, Bro. Wong for sprained neck.

All of us gathered and begin to just declare God's healing upon them. All of us were just ordinary members, there were no pastors nor elders among us. But we remembered what our pastor,
Ps. Paul Kim has taught us that anyone can just pray for healing and be the very channel to release healing just by speaking the word of God.

Operating on God's level of faith, we begin to declare God's word in a simple manner through prayer. Sunday as we met up in church, we received the following news:-

1. Sis. Loo Sing's mom is healed from her hypertension. She checked her blood pressure and it's within the normal range and no longer need any medication.
2. Bro. Wong's neck has recovered alot and he feels much better now.

Praise God!!! for His awesome works. We trust that these news would encourage you to speak and declare His words of healing to those who are sick and unwell. As any believer can lay their hands and pray for the sick, we do not have to wait for our pastor or leader but we, believers can do it too!!

IF GOD IS FOR US, WHO CAN BE AGAINST US?

I waited 3 months to write this amazing news.

A little background of myself: I am a fresh graduate, majoring in Chemistry. 3 months ago, I joined an international market research company for a 3-months internship. Even though it was an internship but I was well paid as an intern. :)

I was placed in the Electronics & Security Department and was in charge of researching the China, Taiwan and Hong Kong markets. In the course of completing tasks given, I undertook extensive translation work (Mandarin to English) whilst conducting Primary and Secondary research. It is something I never did before in my life! I can list down other 101 challenges I faced within this 3 months.

God is great! It wasn’t a smooth sailing from the day I sent in my resume. My boyfriend said: “It takes a rough sea to make a good sailor”. I know clearly deep in me that God has a plan for me in this industry, if I would to tell you in detail of my experience with God in these 3 months, I need to tell you face to face! Because it is so exciting!!! I can’t describe myself here in words!!

All I do is to hold on to what He told me in the beginning. It wasn’t much. He just told me to take this job. As I continue to walk in His path, He reveals more things to me. Like WOAHHHHHH!!! Everyday is like a magical day!

“Trust in the Lord with ALL your heart and lean NOT on your own understanding; In ALL ways, acknowledge Him and He shall direct your path”

I have just ended my 3 months internship and will be starting my new contract with the company tomorrow!! God is great! During this current economy situation, the company freezes their recruitment. As for me, I am exception! My team members and supervisors want to keep me because I have proven myself during the 3 months internship. And for my sake, God intervened! New business came in even during bad times! That’s why I am the only intern who got hired!! And I get 100% increment! Even my colleague was shock with the amount!!

Isn’t God amazing!!!!!! I waited for 3 months to see this to come into fulfillment! And for me to shout out loud that whatever God says WILL NOT be in vain!!!! His word is powerful!!!!! Sis.KimSuan told me, I actually don’t need to wait! I should declare and tell the whole world even right at the beginning itself!!! Because we knew for sure it will happen!!!!

So who says the economy downfall can bring us down? “What then shall we say of these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?” Romans 8:31

2 YEARS KNEE INJURY HEALED

Yes, God healed my 2 years knee injury!!!

I was on the way to the hospital this morning to get an X-ray for my knee injury; while waiting for the bus I do some stretching for my knee and to my surprise, no matter how I stretch or twist my knee, there is no more pain!!! :D~

The injury happened 2 years ago when I fell down and hit my left knee directly on the tile. Back then it was more serious where I can't stand after I squad or sit - my left knee was totally weak. I went for physiotherapy and Chinese massage, the pain reduces but it never goes off 100%.

I remember I just make a simple prayer for my knee, telling God how worry I am about the condition of my knee; To be exact, I was actually having a casual conversation with Him only, and healing take place!

Wooohooo~!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I really can't describe the joy God put in my heart!!!!!!

I'VE THE PEACE OF GOD AND FULL CONFIDENCE!

Whenever my exams are coming (especially a day before it), I would always feel very stressful. I would study very hard even when my eyes are going to shut and my brain thinks of my nice, warm, comfortable bed.

But this time, I noticed that it’s different. I wasn’t a bit stressful or nervous a day before my exams! It was just light and easy. I have the peace and full confidence within me! Even when the exam paper is in front of me, I was still smiling and not having sweat dripping down from my head or my palm.

I’m sooo happy because I’ve finally develop the peace of God and full confidence in myself!

TOGETHER WE CAN REACH OUR DESTINATION

Last week on the 30th April, I was in Kuala Lipis For 3 days.The trip was organized by our church Triumphant Christian Centre. There were 13 of us who went for this trip.

On the 2nd day all of us was given a exciting ride on a 4X4 Jeep to one of the waterfall up on the mountain side. It was an exciting adventure for me.

Because of my disabilities I sat in front and the rest have to stand at the back of the Jeep. Through this ride I can see how the driver overcome all the obstacles and get us to reach our destination.

I thank God for this experience on the Jeep.Because the Jeep can’t stop right in front of the waterfall all of us have to get down from the jeep and walk a short distance to reach the waterfall.

I trie to walk on crutches but it is very difficult for me. Finally Nicholas, Bro Wong, Eric and Bro Bruce all had to take turn to carry me. I thank God for each one of them because it is not easy to carry me but they did it anyway.Through this I learn by myself I can't reach the destination but together we can.

This applies to our walk with Christ Jesus, our Lord. Perhaps you may not have disabilities that I have but we all have our limitations. We need each other to carry us through to our destination in Christ .We can’t walk this journey on our own in Christ.

Last year, my exams result was not so good. The reason is because I didn’t put in the effort to study. However this year, when the teacher gave us the monthly test, I scored a better result. My school has a competition which everybody is given the opportunity to participate. You have to read some books and record it down on a special book provided by my school. I’ve written a lot of books, all I ever wanted was to win, glorify God’s name and make my parents proud!

On Monday’s assembly, the teacher pronounced: “The winner of the book recording competition is ......... "and I was so scared that my hard work won’t pay off! I’ve worked very hard for 3 months! But then, the teacher said: “And the first prize winner is, Ho Khai Ling (my full name)!” I was so happy and ran out to receive my gift. Besides that, the teacher also said that my class recorded more then 1000 books within 3 months! Some of my friends said that it was because of me that our class won, I felt like a heroine that day! The Lord bless my class for my sake!

Truly, God is great and He will reward you for all your hard work. Thank you, Jesus!

SEEK FIRST HIS KINGDOM AND RIGHTEOUSNESS

In the mid year 2007, Ps. Chung form ANS, Muar gave me prophecies with regards to my future studies and my purpose here on this earth. The following is an excerpt of the 1st prophecy:
“The Lord says that I want to open your spiritual eyes through my spirit of wisdom to allow you to see your future, see the occupation, see the very course/study that I want you to join. In this course/study, I will give you the strength, wisdom and beyond, to receive the very strength/power that I’ve given to you, the qualification that I've given to you. I want my holy spirit and my wisdom to fill you.”
The 2nd prophecy I received in the mid year 2008:
“God will show by His spirit, little by little about my future.”

When I finished my High School and got my exams results, I begin to ponder about my future and began asking even my siblings for advice as to what course to pursue in college. I totally forgot about the above prophecies. I was so preoccupied with these matters that I totally forgot to seek God for His plans upon my life.

It was during my conversation with Sis. Laffy that she suggested, that I should consider the course in “Counseling”. As she observed my life, she felt that I have this ability to give counsel to people. This is an area which I have never even thought of. Nevertheless, I was still doubtful of what she spoke and went to look for other courses. But all these efforts going on my own way just lead me deeper into confusion and creating more doubts in me.

In the night, I recalled back of those prophecies that God has given to me. I kept on declaring His words that He had spoken to me. That same night, God gave me a dream. In the dream, I saw myself giving counsel to my friends who were quarreling earlier on. It was after my counsel that they begin to reconcile were holding hands together to pray along with me. Here, God began to reveal His purpose for me by taking up this course in counseling. In fact, I saw myself as the very source that would bring about changes and impact in my college

Even though I have made the decision and applied for this course, there were negative thoughts that came to my mind. My dad too was worried if I was making the right decision as he felt that there would be limited job opportunities in this area. Nevertheless I refuse to give in to these negative thinking patterns and worries about my future. As I begin to hold on to His words and obey His ways, I began to have such a rest and peace in my heart and mind to study this course. I no longer have to worry anymore as His word says in
Matt 6:33 “Seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.”

DECLARING GOD'S WORD

I and my family had shifted out from our apartment of 15 yrs to a condominium on the 28th March, 2009. A week after we had moved into the condo, I asked my husband for direction to the market that is convenient for me to do my marketing.

The following morning, as about 6.40am, I followed my husband's car from behind for the direction to the market. When we were almost reaching the market, he gave me a signal that this was the market and he hurriedly drove off to work. I parked my car near to the market because it was still early in the morning. I sat inside the car for a while because suddenly I was confronted with the source of fear that I might not be able to find my way back to the condo. I prayed a short prayer by declaring His word in Psalms 121:2 "My help comes from the Lord." Psalms 27:1 "The Lord is my light." Isaiah 41:10 "I do not fear for the Lord is with me."

After my prayer and doing my marketing, I met with a "sister" whom I had not seen for 4 yrs. We had a short conversation and I noted down her h/p no and she left the market. It was about 7.20am when I finished my marketing. As i walked back to the car to open the door, I realized that my car key was not with me. I walked back to the market to search for the key, but I couldn't find it. I panicked and I was a loss at what to do as I feared that I would not find my way back to the condo but have lost the car key as well.

I seek the Lord again and declared God's word that "I am not afraid for the Lord is with me; He will help me." As I continued declaring His word, I realize that God's presence calm my panic. Suddenly, I remembered the "sister" whom i met earlier on. I contacted her and she told me that she would meet me back at the market in 10 mins. time. She arrived exactly at that time and as she send me back to the condo to get the car spare key, she gave me directions back to the condo.When I got back to the market, I found my car key inside the boot of the car.

From the market, I managed to drive back to the condo with much ease as I had much confidence and was without fear as I knew that the Lord was with me. I thank the Lord for His guidance to me through this "sister" and through His very words.

Brother and sisters, I encourage all of you to declare His word not only when we face difficulties or trials but everyday of your life. God's word is powerful as it carries His very presence!

I give God all the glory for the wonderful work that He has done and still is doing in my life.

MY FIRST SONG

In our youth meeting on18/4/2009, Sis. Kim Suan told us that in May and June we must compose songs that relate to the seasons of God for the house. I feel that it is impossible for me to compose my own song. I don’t know any musical instrument, and I don’t really sing in tune , it is impossible for someone like me who don’t know anything about music to compose one song .

On the way home, I receive an SMS from Marcus which read: “Must see news today Datuk Najib is saying ONE Malaysia Faces without Races.” All of the sudden, I feel that there are some words came into my mind and I started to jot it down. The more I write, more words just flow out. Then it came with a melody and I began to sing and record it down with my hand phone. After I have the whole thing, I began to record it singing the whole song.
YEAH!!! Finally, I compose my first song.

I was so excited that I called Sis. Kim Suan, and asked her to come over to my house. I wanted to present her the whole song and ask her to help me make the song better. Seriously, I really want to thank God for making all things possible. This is the first time I compose a song and it just happened immediately in such a short span of time. I don’t know how to express this excitement that's within me!!!!

I even called Sis. Laffy and sing to her the whole song and she is there with words of encouragement. I’m so grateful to Sis. Kim Suan that she had help me to make the song better and encouraged me. Praise God for His goodness towards me!

WE ARE THE FINISHING GENERATION!!

Greetings and blessings from East land of Malaysia, Kuching.

It brought true joy into our spirit each time we read this blog-amazing news. Even though we are miles and miles apart somehow our spirit are so connected with all of you and whatever that's happening in the spirit realm.

We really thank GOD for what He has worked in each and everyone of our lives. He has raised us up,connected us to His Destiny, involved us in HIS great plans and choose and set us apart for HIM, for succession. We are truly the generation described in Psalm 102:18-'a generation yet to be created.', The Finishing Generation, a generation that fashioned by HIS word and by the Spirit of the Lord. A generation whom so much in love with our LORD JESUS, a generation that will only pursue after purity and righteousness, and will not be contaminated by the world but to influence and impacting lives around us. A generation will only say, 'YES' to GOD.

Yes, we are God's warrior, the giant killers, the city takers and the world changers. We are assigned to carry the baton and faithfully running HIS race. We thank God for the future HE has written about us and we are to fulfill it. After we had been send out from TCC for a greater assignment by GOD, we thank God and are glad to see our sheeps obediently carry the baton we had passed on and seeing them faithfully continue to run the race towards HIS destiny, along with our great partners in Destiny, Pastor Paul,Sis.Nancy,Sis Kim Suan and Sis.Stephanie.
How great and awesome is our God!

I(Laffy) remembered 2007 IYC(International Youth Conference) in Muar, Johor, Pastor Jonathan David of ANS sharing his prophetic vision, God is birthing a new breed, formed by HIS very hand. Now seeing how GOD has fashioned us, moulding us, shaping us, training us and finally transforming us to be the godly man and woman HE wanted us to be, to become connected together to fulfill the same destiny and complete the same purpose. Yes, we are the Finishing generation. Wherever place we may set our foot on, we will continue to make a difference and with boldness, we will establish God's kingdom.

Its so amazing how God has raised up this Finishing Generation(we). We have been chosen by God to carry and to transfer Christ legacy to fulfillment.
By accurately connected to God and His destiny, now we can come together as one in the Spirit, one heart, bones to bones, flesh to flesh, God will caused the right kind of people with the right kind of attitude to connect to us. Even though we are separated by the huge South China Sea, we are strongly and accurately connected.

Last but not least, we are the Finishing Generation will rise to reveal a new measure of grace which we possess as sons of God. AMEN!!!!!

GOD ANSWERS OUR NEEDS! JUST BE PATIENT

Yesterday,I was overjoyed when my mum said:"Jun,do you want to go for tuition?"
I had been praying to God that my mom would let me go for tuition as my results weren't that good and I know I need tuition to help me catch up. Previously when I ask my mum to allow me to go for tuition, she would like before I could even finish my sentence, she would just say: NO!
I thank God that He answered my prayer and my mom has a change of heart and mind.

WE ARE THERE FOR ONE ANOTHER

In my cell group, there are some of them who are currently going through some tough trial or challenges. My heart was sad to watch them walk through it but then I realized they have to learn to walk through it depending on God and allow Him to shake what can be shaken so that He could put in His ingredients. But I'm very glad that God reminded us of the following:-

1. In this season, God did not have all of us go through tough times is so that we would all learn to be there for one another. Those who are strong must keep staying strong so that those among us who are tired or weary or discouraged in the midst of trials can be encouraged. We are there to lift them up by speaking the proceeding word into their lives. We are there as their companions where they can run to as we are there to stand by them to pray and cry aloud on their behalf. As they find comfort and strength in us they too would move out strong and be a great source to others as well. We lend our ears and shoulders and give out tissues :'( when there's a need to, FOC :D

2. All of us would would have to go through trials as this is part of His dealings in our lives. Each person would have their turn so we should not whine, angry nor be frustrated as God has already prepared us beforehand to face all the trials and challenges. As I look back at the early months as we hear His words, God has actually spoken, prepared and equipped us for these test. That's why we face every trials and challenges with boldness and know that we can prevail because He has put in all that we need within us.

That's why I really believe that one would no longer have to bear the challenges or trials all alone. God is already in the midst raising a strong company of true companions who are partners in destiny that would be there for one another. Like one of my cell group member quipped: "God is so good as He make such arrangement so that we can have one another to encourage us as we walk through trials. Then we can be an encouragement to others who are in our home and school."

True partners in destiny gives much strength, courage and comfort to one another!

NO MORE TUITION!!!!

God is awesome!!! He does things that are remarkable and astounding .I just found out that I don’t need tuition to catch up with my studies, in my case Mathematics. YAY!!! For the past 2 years, I’ve been attending the tuition and spending a lot of money and the results… was not really good. Now, without it I can still catch up! Praise God!!

I AM DIFFERENT!

One day as I was assigned to take care of my class after the recess, a classmate of mine came and approached me. She wanted to speak to me personally therefore I listened to her attentively.

She mentioned that she and a few others are in a team and is in the midst of entering a competition and her current group is need another team member. What surprised me was, she mentioned that I was a suitable candidate to join her team because she noticed that I was matured in my way of handling situations. She needed a person with such quality to lead the rest of the team members.

I was so surprised that I did know how to respond to her. I refused her offer as I felt I was busy furthermore I did not want to stayed back after school that often.But she kept begging me profusely that I finally agreed to her request.

As I was seated, I begin to ponder about this incident; I was reminded by what Sis. Laffy had said previously. She said, “Everywhere we go we must carry ourselves well because there are people looking at us because of our identity, as a Christian.”
I begin to realize that the people around me could see that I am different from the others!!

I am different! I am extraordinary! Simply because my God is with me!

HE LISTENS TO MY CRY

During the recent Chinese New Year, a miracle had happened. I was staying with my aunt. As she had to leave for outstation for a few days therefore I was assigned to take care of her puppy. I had to ensure that the gate is close at all times so that the puppy won’t run out.

One day as I was busy with my errands, the puppy went missing. I was very worried as my aunt loves her puppy dearly. If she hears of this news she would be disheartened. It was at this time that I really felt lost and hopeless.

I went out to search for the puppy despite it rained like dogs and cats. My cousins joined me in search of the puppy. After 15 mins we still could not find the puppy as the rained persisted and got heavier. We had to abandon the search. While walking back with a heavy heart, I just cried out to God and asked Him for help.

Surprisingly, someone called and asked if we are looking for a puppy and gave us the exact description of our lost puppy. We responded positively to him and the caller gave us direction of our puppy’s whereabouts. As we traveled, I kept on asking God to help us then I spotted our puppy under a car.

This whole experience made me realize that GOD IS GREAT as He’s always with us. It has taught me that even in situations or things that may be small but still God cares. We must learn to be dependent on HIM in all things.

GOD'S INTERVENTION

I want to thank and praise God for being with me in good and bad times. I thank God for giving my wife four wonderful children who are always very caring and kind to me. They are very supportive and give me lots of hope and happiness when I am down with head internal bleeding and in semi-conscious on the 23rd March 2009, my daughter Belinda and son Bruce were so concern.

They give the moral support to their mother while I was hospitalized. I thank God for His timely help by sending my wife's friends to help me to get an ambulance to the hospital on the 23rd of March about 7am. Their quick action saved my life. I was operated on the same day at Sungai Buloh Hospital. I was gain consciousness at about 9pm and give relieve to all the friend and family members. My eldest son and daughter in-law flew back from UK to see me.

I am greatly happy and praise God the Almighty for the timely intervention and action because I was suppose to be on the flight to UK that night itself. God is great as He prevented me from going or else I can’t imagine what could be the consequences. I encourage members of the church to pray and to let Jesus walk with you for He loves us and keep us safe by His side. Amen!

IT'S ABOUT HIM

Recently, I was asked to stay behind after my science subject has ended. My science teacher had wanted me to help her return the books to my other classmates. As I stayed behind, my teacher and I begin to have a conversation. It was in the midst of the conversation I begin to pour my frustration to her about my responsibility as a school prefect. I had assumed that she would begin to sympathize with me but that was not so. In fact, she actually corrected me of my negativity!

The following are her words:-
Science teacher said: “You have the leadership skill, why won’t you use it to help the school? I noticed that you are actually well prepared for challenges as you never seem to be afraid to face any of it. I don’t know why, you seem to have the power to attract my attention even though it’s just my first year teaching you. Every single thing that you do would bring a lot of changes. I’m proud that there’s a girl like you who comes from a Chinese speaking primary school being a school prefect in a English Missionary Secondary School…..…..”

At the end of our conversation, my teacher has me reflect back on what she had spoken. As I pondered and reflect back, I begin to realize that she was right. We should do everything that we can to take back our school for God. I begin to know that it’s no longer about me but about God, His work and the many other lives that would be impacted. God and His work are more important than my own feelings.

WHEN YOU SPEAK THE WORD

On 15th April 2009 at 6.00am.
I was awaken by the lightning sound, then I looked out and saw that it was raining very heavily. It created much noise till I could not resume back to sleep. But I remembered what Sis. Kim Suan taught me, she said, "WHEN YOU SPEAK THE WORD, IT WOULD COME TO PAST."

So I begin to take act upon those words. I said, "In Jesus name, no more rain". Within half and hour, really happened! The rain stopped!

I really thank God that He had heard my prayer about my friend. It all started when my friend fell down and hurt her knee. From then on, she would always complain that she hated her left knee. I prayed for God’s healing to be upon her and also a pure mind, so that she would not always think of getting rid of her left knee. After a few weeks of praying, I noticed that she had stopped complaining about her feet but is awaiting left knee to fully recover. Praise the Lord!

FRUSTRATION TURNS TO PEACE

These few months I was very tired due to my hectic schedule as a school prefect. In fact, I was reluctant to take this post as it was my teacher that appointed me. In other words, I was forced to accept it! :(

There was a particular moment where I felt really frustrated with all my senior prefects but then I was reminded by a word of prophesy that was released to me. It says, “This is the time for you to change the school!”

Immediately, I just felt that I should not take things so personally but learn to be professional in my way of responding and handling of situations. I also received an sms from Sis. Laffy. She reminded me that it was God who appointed me to this position and not my teacher therefore I should give up! I’m happy to say that I have done my duty well and glorified HIM!!

I AM THE BEST STUDENT IN MY CLASS

My name is Esther Ho. I am eight years old. There is a competition in my school, you have to be the best student in your class only then you can win.
My teacher chose me to be the best student because I didn’t talk when my teacher is teaching and I finish my homework in time.

Caleb Lim

On Nov 17 2008, we received a medical report concerning Caleb, a report that will crush every parent’s heart. Caleb was diagnosed with bruton’s agammaglobulinemia. It is an immune disorder that is present at birth and is characterized by low or completely absent of immunoglobulins in the bloodstream. In simpler terms, Caleb’s body lacks a fully functioning immune system and is vulnerable to repeated potentially fatal, bacteria infections. And there is no cure for this defect, which means it is a life long sickness. No feelings can described how we felt at the time when the doctor was explaining about Caleb’s condition – we were confused, heart-broken, lost with many questions running through our minds – why this has to happen, what is this sickness all about, why our son………

It all started when Caleb, beginning at the age of 3, was always ill with serious childhood infections. We have lost count the number of times he visited the pediatrician and stayed in the hospital for treatment. It never occurred to us that he is born with immune disorder as his pediatrician never suspect anything and he kept receiving treatment for the infection he was admitted for. This went on for 2 years until he was hit with a very serious pneumonia in September 2008, where he stayed in the hospital for 21 days and had an operation in the lungs to remove the infections as his lungs have started to collapse. We thank God wholeheartedly for His sovereign hands upon Caleb throughout the operation. The operation went well without any complication. Indeed, He is Emmanuel, our God who is with us.

Caleb recovered from his pneumonia but only for a very, very brief period of time where he had another recurrent episode during our family trip in Melbourne. He was admitted to the hospital again, this time at the Royal Children’s Hospital (RCH) in Melbourne. It was God’s divine intervention in allowing Caleb to go through the infection again and be admitted to the RCH, for it was at the RCH where the doctors suspected something is wrong with Caleb’s immunity when we gave them a chronology of Caleb’s illness and admission to the hospital. They did a special test and confirmed his condition. We are grateful to God for bringing us to the right people in Melbourne. Had Caleb not admitted to the RCH, we may never find out about his condition. In fact we have already cancelled our trip to Melbourne when Caleb had his lung operation. But to our surprise the travel agent did not do so and held on to our tickets until 24 hours before our flight. Somehow, we went ahead with the trip at the last minute. We wanted Caleb to have a good break after having to go through a distress experience. At the same time he was really looking forward to the trip from the day we bought the tickets to Melbourne. It was God who planned the trip for us after all. It is amazing how God works in ways we can never imagine or comprehend.

Caleb, now 5, is currently receiving proper treatment for agammaglobulinemia. He receives human antibody infusion (IVIG) every 4 weeks to replace the immunoglobulin that is not present in his body and he is doing well. He has started going back to kindergarten ever since he started on the IVIG. Everyday we declare God’s divine protection upon Caleb before he leaves for school as it is very easy for him to catch another infection from any of the kids at his kindergarten. Everyday we are seeing God’s miracle coming into fulfillment when Caleb goes to school and comes home well. Everyday is an amazing journey with God as we lift and surrender our son to the Almighty and to truly learn to depend on Him alone to protect Caleb. Everyday is a new day.

We believe God has a divine purpose and destiny for Caleb and our family by allowing him to be born with such disorder. And we believe with all our hearts that Caleb’s life will be a breakthrough testimony. Caleb in the Old Testament was part of the Joshua generation – a rising and breakthrough generation that will not allow fear to intimidate them. Our Caleb carries the spirit of that same generation – breaking all fear, breaking all limitations. All the doctors said he will never recover and need life long IVIG but we know that our God is the greatest in wisdom, power and might. We will continue to declare life and life abundantly unto Caleb until the day he receive his miracle. Caleb will surely see this into fulfillment in his life because our God is able and nothing is impossible at the name of our Lord Jesus.

All glory be unto God not for what He has done but for who He is!

LET GOD BE YOUR NUMBER ONE!

Last Friday, James and Gloria told me that they’re going to Penang the following Saturday. I, of course wanted to go. So I begged them until they agreed to let me come along. But after we had dinner together on Saturday, Sis. Kim Suan was fetching James and I back home.

She told us that we’re going to have T.E.A.M on the following Saturday, the same day we wished to go to Penang. I was troubled, I don’t know which decision to make. To go to Penang or to go for T.E.A.M.

At night, I asked God, what am I to do? I wished to go to Penang and also to T.E.A.M! If only I can cut myself to half. During the next day, I asked Gloria whether she’s going to T.E.A.M or Penang. She told me that her father has already gone to Penang this morning so there’ll be nobody to fetch us to Penang, so of course we have to go for T.E.A.M!

I suddenly remembered about what my leaders, Sis. Laffy and
Sis. Kim Suan said. They told us that in whatever situation, we must put God number one than to the world. I felt so disappointed with myself that I’ve put the world number one and God next. But after this entire thing, I think God wants to teach me a lesson about putting Him number one! I’m sorry, Jesus…

MY NEW FRIEND

I once had a friend. I thought she’s my good friend. Her name is Ong Yu Ying. But one day, when my class monitor was telling me a secret.

Yu Ying wanted to know what we are talking about but my class monitor doesn’t want to tell her about the secret.

So Yu Ying was angry with me. She scolded me and told my other friends to leave me. So I only had one friend left. I was very sad.

But one day, when my teacher decided to change our seat. I sat with a Malay girl named Siti Nurshahera. She is better than Ong Yu Ying.

I thank God for giving me this new friend. THANK YOU JESUS!!!

Isaac 3++yrs old

Last Friday I took Isaac to cell group. He enjoyed being with the company of the adults. It was amazing to see that he joined in the worship and followed us singing worship song. And during the sharing he was playing by himself but I was surprise that eventhough he was playing, he was also listening to the sharing by Auntie Nancy. He interrupted Auntie Nancy to ask her what is : “Splendor?” Then he told her that he also got a “blender....!!” HA! HA!!.. How funny...

On the way home, both of us were singing "Lord Send the Rain, Let your spirit come and Glorify Jesus..." He can remember this song and love singing it now.

My point here showed that children can capture the spiritual dimension of what is happening in the cell group. Let's impart our legacy to them...

THE LORD BLESSED MY SCHOOL FOR MY SAKE!

Hi! My name is Nettle, aged 15.I feel honoured to share this amazing news to everyone around the world. I was appointed to decorate my school activity bulletin board this year but things weren't going well then. People around me looked down on me, they think I can't handle my assignment but with God's help things began to change.

"For your sake, God is willing to step in and intervene, just like He did to Joseph." This word was spoken by Sis. Kim Suan during one of our classes in church, it hit me hard and I won't forget these words.

A month later, there’s a competition going on for bulletin boards. I was there panicking what to do as trying to be creative and decorate the bulletin board is not an easy task. By that time the judge came to see our bulletin board ,I had just finished doing my "masterpiece" at the knick of time.

Therefore I didn’t expect to win any prize for it. The following day, I was shocked! My friends told me that I did a great job and had won the first prize! I was so surprised and I didn’t know what to do. All I could do was repeating these words, “Oh thank God! Oh thank God! Oh thank God!”

HEAVY BURDEN LIFTED UP

I want to share something amazing to you. Today, I have a burden to read the TCC Amazing News and after that I read the sunday service message (Dr. Jonathan David’s sermon notes) which my wife emailed. I was looking for the time to read it despite a hectic schedule, but this morning I managed to read it...

I guess my heart was very heavy but after reading TCC Amazing News Blog and the sharing from Stephanie and Xiong on facing challenges really encouraged me, it was like God talking to me, when I read the Sunday sermon (Dr. Jonathan David's sermon notes), when I reach the 3rd and 2nd last paragraph, I suddenly cannot control myself and cried uncontrollably and felt something lifted up from my heart. I believed the Holy Spirit lifted the heavy burden from my heart... and I felt very good after that.

I do not know how I will handle pressure/challenges in future, but I know that there is a breakthrough for me already!

SEEK HIM FIRST

I am glad to have this opportunity to share what God have done in my life.
I really want thanks God for guiding me and encouraging me all the way until now. He set many things orderly in my life.

The first thing I want to share is about me having an unexpected result for my SPM exams. I have 8As in my SPM result. Although it’s not excellent but I know that it’s by God’s grace, I have this result. For a person who studies at the eleventh hour and still be able to get this result it’s only through God, all things are made possible. It’s only in God, we can find success.

The second one is that, in Malaysia, to get JPA/ Government scholarship one must have 9As and above in their SPM exams. Yet with my 8A’s exams result, I was called for an interview. God is great! God is awesome!

I really want to thank God for giving me every opportunity. I remembered what my father told me and I believe they are words from God. My father told me that God wants me to acknowledge that all that I have are not because my own effort but it’s because of GOD. It’s in HIM that I have all these!

Everyday of our lives, we must depend on God. Whatever we have, regardless good or bad, we must praise and glorify Him. All that God do is for our own good because He want to set a right path way for us, so that we do not have to worry about anything in our lives.

“But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness, and all these things shall be added unto you.”

GOD SPEAK TO ME

Thank God for His awesome work in my life. As we build our connection close to God, He speaks to us in many different ways through situation, people and even animals.

One morning, I was on my way to work while thinking about the challenges I faced in my job, then God spoke to me. As I was looking at the little tiny ants which are busy gathering pieces of food (some are few times bigger than them) along the road, God said: “See my son, the little tiny ants can overcome all the challenges which is few times bigger than them. So why are you taking challenges as a major boundary and limitation for you? If the small tiny ant can overcome the challenges, why can’t you?”

I was stunned and amazed.

I start questioning myself: “Why do I have to take challenges so sadly when I know God is molding me?” God knows what we can handle and what we can’t. After receiving His word, I build strong faith in Him and have total obedience to His word. I have no worries about challenges in my job and can take it with a joyful heart.

Praise the Lord!!! I really thank God for His Everlasting grace and love for us. I feel so blessed because we have God in our life. God bless!

FINANCIAL BREAKTHROUGH

On 03/04/2009, few of us went to a restaurant for supper after cell group. I have encountered bankruptcy before. There was a time where I did not manage my finance well therefore I was in debt. My leader said if I don't change my ways, I would be bankrupt!! But now I can bless my leader (Sis.Kimsuan) a drink because I have learned to manage my finances well.

I am not rich, it is just what i have. I will bless because I am the channel of blessing. God gave me this gift because God knows that I care for old people and normal people a lot, (Editor's note: Haha, he means that he care for everyone, especially for those above him and dear to him) so I am applying this gift into my life!!

GOD OF PEACE AND JOY

How many times we struggle to be positive/ happy or have peaceful mind in the midst of storm? With human's strength, will or wisdom, I would say it is impossible. Can we be like Jesus, sleeping like a baby in the midst of storm?

YES, we can. How? It is easy.

Take our position as son, think like how He thinks, speak like how He speaks, live like how He lives (in victory). You won't be able to imagine or understand how amazing things can happen so supernaturally when you obey His word.

I think about Jesus all the time, especially during difficult time. I FORCE myself to think of His promises and does not allow any reasoning in my mind against His word. And as I practise this, the result is: I do not to struggle to be happy, peaceful and optimistic! I just have it in me naturally! I can be joyful and full of energy all the time!

In the midst of any impossible-to-be-happy-situation in my life, I just smileeee allllll theeee waaayyy~~

I don't know how I did it! I just know it is ALL because of HIM!!!

On one particular day on 20th February, I planned to buy milk powder for my baby and I took Isaac with me in the car. But then, we decided to stop by the pet shop first to see some fish as this is one of my son's favorite activity.
Our next plan was to go to the shop to get the milk powder but I was hesitant and decided to head home instead.When we arrived at home we were told that a robbery had just happen at that particular shop that I intended to go and there were 6 robbers inside and unfortunately one of my friend was robbed.
Immediately, I praised God for His Protection upon Me and my son.
It would have been us in the scene if i had proceed to go the shop.

God's Sovereign hand was upon us ! and to those who are connected to Him! God protects the righteous! All Glory be Unto Him.. Amen!

I'M GOD'S APPOINTED LEADER

I am Dzunani Mabasa from South Africa. I am 13 years old and I am doing Grade 8.

My testimony is connected to what Amy shared about her new leadership position at school. This year I entered a new school. Unexpectedly I was made prefect of our class. My mom was not feeling comfortable of my leadership position because I find myself leading students who are older than me.

Pastor Mike was teaching at church and he said that God will make us prefects at school and we will lead older students just like what Amy is doing in Malaysia. My mom was encouraged by what pastor said and she started to believe that God wants me to be a leader. I want to say thank you Amy for posting your testimony. God bless sister Kim Suan for teaching and encouraging the youth and children to be leaders and become what God wants them to become.

HE HELPS

Yesterday, while i was playing my computer games, i received a phone call. It was from my friend. He called me to photostat a piece of paper that was our holiday homework because he had lost his.The homework was very important and if we don't hand it in, we'll have to meet the Dean of the subject. I immediately shut down my pc and I went to find that paper.It was then only i realize that I had also lost mine!!!!!I was looking for it frantically all over the whole house but still couldn't find.
It nearly took me for 1 hour. I prayed to God asking for His help so that i could remember where i have placed it.
Later on, I sms to John and Albert to see if i have left the piece of paper in their homes. After half an hour, John replied that the paper is in his home!!!!!
I was so happy that I quickly ran over to his house to get it.
I'm thankful to God for His help but I also learned not to be careless next time.

DON’T WORRY, JUST BELIEVE AND GOD WILL HELP YOU

On the 09.03.09 after school, my sister and I were doing our homework. Suddenly, my sister cried when she was finding something from her bag. She told me: “I’ve forgotten to bring my homework back, I think I left it in my school’s drawer. What am I to do? I haven’t completed them. My teacher will surely beat me!” I looked at her blurred because I don’t know what to say. So I decided to do what I do best, consoling her.
I told her: “Don’t worry, even if you cry, your book won’t fly back to you.” But the more she cried, I don’t even know what I said to her that made her cried even louder! So I said again: “Is this the first time you’ve forgotten to bring your homework back home? She nodded. I told her: “Then believe me, your teacher will surely forgive you if you go and apologize to her without her asking you. But she didn’t stop crying. I wanted to try one last time and see what will happen. So I said: “Why don’t you talk to God alone and ask Him to help you, I’ll leave you in this room alone, ok?” she agreed. So I went out of the room. She prayed alone. Finally, she stopped crying and went out to watch cartoons.
On the next day after school, she told me that her teacher didn’t scold or beat her because she apologized to her teacher automatically. Her teacher even gave her the time to finish her homework. See, if you ask God to help you and you don’t worry about it but do what you must do, God will surely help you. God is great!

SIMPLE FAITH

This is the first amazing news while I was in National Service……an incredible story of my Orang Asli friend.
While in National Service, I was privilege to meet new friends who share the same faith. Emmanuel, Rozaimy (Orang Asli) and I would gather and pray during break time. During one of the prayer session, Rozaimy saw a vision. In the vision, all he could see was a white bright light which gets brighter and brighter and a cross. As he shared his vision, he felt very happy within him which he could not really explain why.
After the Chinese New Year break, Emmanuel told me that ever since that incident, Rozaimy has telling people that he is a Christian whenever people asked him of his belief. One of the most amazing things is when we went to church, Rozaimy learned about the Holy Spirit and the leaders from the church would like to pray for those that have yet to receive the baptism of the Holy Spirit. Rozaimy was hesitant to go out to be prayed for but I encouraged him to do so and even accompany him out. While Rozaimy was being prayed, I was there to put my arms around his shoulder and I too begin to pray in tongues for him.
While I was praying I could really sense the presence of the Holy Spirit in our midst. After we have finished praying, I noticed that Rozaimy just stood there all alone and I wondered what had happened. Later on, Rozaimy shared that he knew he had received the baptism of the Holy Spirit in his life as he felt a great force of wind pushed his body during prayer. He also shared that he really felt a great joy in his heart. He went on to share that after the National service, he would tell his family what had happened to him. I was really glad for him also very encouraged by his simple faith in God. I hope through this news, all of us would begin to rise and have simple faith just like Rozaimy.
The bible say, if you faith as small as a mustard seed, you can move mountains!!

WHEN YOU HAVE THE SPIRIT OF GOD YOU WOULD DRAW PEOPLE

27 March 2009. Kuala Lumpur- Today during my science lesson, my teacher suddenly asked "Who would always surf the internet and search for things? Can you all help me to do that ? "

I responded by asking my teacher what she wanted to search for, but she just blurted “something”. So, I continued on with my work and didn't bother to find out more. Furthermore I could see a big crowd of students surrounding her. Suddenly, my teacher said.

“SEE YAN, you don’t want to help me ? "

I have always noticed that this teacher would not remember her student’s name. She normally addresses all her students as "YOU”. I was very surprised that she remembers MY NAME therefore I agreed to help her. I was totally surprised that in the midst of the crowd she called me out and wanted help only from me!

This incident remind me that what Sis. Kim Suan taught us in S.O.I.L. (School of Impacting Life) that is “When you have the Spirit of God, you will draw people to you!!

IT'S A NEW DAY

20/03/2009, Friday, 6.45am. Kuala Lumpuer - As I was waiting for bus to work, God gave me 2 songs: "It's a new day" and "Prophesy". I was mentally and physically tired as my job is very challenging. The God of peace in me gave me godly peace as I sing these two songs in my mind. God spoke to me from the lyrics. He not only make me feel happy but also make me feel afresh. Even though I still need to go back to my daily routine and responsibilities, my perspective of life has totally changed into His perspective of life. I can be His mouth, think with His mind, see with His eyes and live a life which He has destined me to live.

I CAN PREVAIL

God always tell us to love our enemies, no matter is a boy or a girl. When I was in standard 5, I’ve got a classmate of which I hate very much because he would always call me gorilla. Then after a few weeks, our class teacher decided to change our original place. My teacher just placed him, my enemy sitting beside me! Then I said to myself that this is going to be a lot of trouble for me. Then for about two months, he kept calling me gorilla. But I remembered that I’m a breakthrough believer and that I should not allow all these to intimidate me therefore I just hold my peace and refused to respond in a negative manner. Within two months, he got tired and stopped calling me names. Yes!! Breakthrough believer can always PREVAIL through every situation.

I’M GOD’S APPOINTED LEADER IN SCHOOL!

Hi there, I am Amy. If you all had been to Sunday Service on 25.01.09, Sis. Kim Suan had mentioned about a girl. She said that she gave her a Christmas card and inside she told her that she’s going to take over the school. And she PROMISED it.

I supposed that you all really want to know who “she is. Well…it’s hard to believe, but it’s actually me. Hey, who says that a small sized, 11 year-old girl can’t take over the school?
If there isn’t a girl who had done this, then lucky me, I’m the first one!

Well to let you know, I’ve already fulfilled my promised that I’ve made. After the 1st week of school, I went to the library to check that when I’m on duty. I looked high and low for my name on the duty list, but I just can’t find it. So I went to ask the “madam” of the library. She said: “Oh, you can’t find it because; you’re the head of the Friday librarian on duty group!”
I was shocked because you’ll have to be standard 6 only then you can be the head, but I’m only standard 5! Of course there’s still another girl which is also standard 5 and also the head, but at least I’m the head too.

To let you know, being an 11 year-old girl but commanding 12 year-old librarians what to do is great! But of course, I command them in a polite way. I don’t have to do anything except commanding them and replace them to do the work if they’re absent because that’s my job.
My mother was so proud of me when I told her the news.
So…here it is, I’m a leader now and you can do it too!

I'M CHANGED

My behavior before I accept Christ and now is totally different! I’m not trying to say that my behavior is perfect now but what I’m trying to say is that I’ve changed. Last time I used to be a rude boy, I responded rudely to my parents, scolded my siblings although they just did a small mistake. Sometimes, I’m worse then them but I just scold them without thinking about myself. Changes don’t have to start off perfectly, we may fail but at least we had tried and it’s a lot better than doing nothing. I’m changing now, and it is for the better!

The glory doesn’t come to me but to God and all my leaders.

I AM HEALED!

I was having bad flu slight fever on Monday. So sick that I can only sleep. Marcus just declare to me that I will be able to go work the next day and it happen! Unfortunately my nose was still stuck with thick mucus that cause me to have difficulty in breathing. This would normally lead to sore throat and I started to have dry cough on Wednesday.

On Friday, I was exhausted. I rushed from work to The Rock, in KL for Prayer Meeting. I wanted to home because my body feels weak. During worship, I push through my physical limitation (Sore throat, stuck nose and tired body) to sing, worship and enjoy in His presence.

I was touched by the Holy Spirit. Tears fall then I feel my mucus is flowing out. I took the tissue paper and give a great hard blow. After that, my nose is totally mucus-free and my throat is healed even as I scream and shout to praise Him!! I AM HEALED!!

Yes, nothing is impossible with GOD. He sees my desperate 'desire', wanting so much to attend the G.E.A.R and He uses all of you as well as teaching all of you to meet other people's need and help. I’m really grateful that you all put your finances together to make this ‘desire’ of mine come through! Thank you all my partners in destiny....

I truly had a significant time with the LORD as well as enable me to catch up with all my partner in destiny in Muar, I really have a great time, Thanks again partners..

Through this special blessing, it also enable me to see you guys, indeed the generation GOD had set apart for Him, the generation described in Psalm 102:18-the finishing generation. Keep rising guys. Even we have been separated by the huge South China Sea, nothing can compare to the close bond we have for each other, even thicker than the blood...all this is because of JESUS, it is HIM in us, it is HIS love that teaches us, it is CHRIST who kept us close to each other. Yes, it is all because of JESUS who connected us to the Destiny. The same destiny we are pursuing after, and we will be the better partner in Destiny, now and forever.

TRUST IN HIM

Before my examination, I prayed a lot knowing that God would help me.

But I didn’t even touch my books although the day is coming closer and closer, instead I kept playing computer. During the exam, I was very nervous because I didn’t study at all. And after the exam, I realized that I got very bad results.

After my school recess, I stayed at the canteen doubting God saying that He’s bad.

Then Amy came and asked me some question, but I just scolded her like she has done something wrong.

But then during the cell group, God spoke to me. He said: “Do not doubt Him for He knows what is best for me.”

After He had told me this, I began to realize that I must do my part to study and TRUST in Him.

From that day onwards, I learned that as I do what is required of me which is to STUDY, GOD will cause all that I do to prosper in my hands.

JESUS HEALS

On 8^th March 2009, I was serving as a drummer. But, when I reach church and started to pray in the pre-prayer service, I felt unwell, so I prayed to Jesus and asked for healing.

Then as usual I just started to play my drum. After a while I felt well again and I knew that I’m being healed.

I’m so happy therefore I just wanted to share this news with everyone!

JESUS HEALS

On 18.03.09, we were having a class in church. And it’s from 9.00a.m to 5.00p.m. But you will have a 10 minutes break and an hour of lunch break. And I was there.

After sitting for about 2 and a half hour, I suddenly felt that my back was very painful. I wanted to bend it or find someone to massage it because it was very painful! I tried walking to the toilet and bend it but nothing happen. So I told Jesus: “Help me Lord, I want to go back to class and concentrate!” then I walked back to my seat, sat down and the pain went away. I was able to concentrate again. I thank Jesus after that.

Truly, He is a God who heals and look after us!

GOD WILL GIVE YOU THE BEST

During one of the Youth Meetings, Sis. Kim Suan told us that God will take away all the friends which aren’t benefiting you and give you new friends which are better than the old ones. But I never believed that.

This happened to me when school reopened not too long ago. I’ve got plenty of friends which make me laugh and were always playing with me. I was very happy indeed! But not long after, my friends suddenly dumped me aside. They never wanted me to join in their clique. They turn to me only when they are going through struggles or family problem because they knew that I was very good in giving people advices and consoling them. They were bored with me. I was lonely during that period. That’s why I’ve never believed that god will give me new and better friends.

But then, the girl sitting beside me slowly became my friend. We didn’t bother each other at first, but then we started to hang out together. I felt that I really don’t need my old and bad friends anymore. I’ve got a new friend now, and a better one! She treated me as though I am her sister. We were there for each other. I like her very much!

I want to thank God and on the other side also apologize to Him because of my unbelief before. Jesus knows what’s best for you, believe and trust him!

GOD HELPS THOSE IN NEED

This month is the month for the monthly test. Although it’s a test, which isn’t recorded in our report card , but I still study and do all necessary preparation . Normally, the teacher will choose a date and inform us, but some teachers would surprise us. This happens to be my History/Sejarah teacher.

History/Sejarah is a pain in my life. As in Form 2, History is filled with all kinds of details on all the "Agreements/Perjanjian". We have to remember where, who, when, what is the effect after they sign all the agreements and the conditions of it.. This made me blur as I study it. But I tried my best to remember all the details of it.

When my teacher came in and tell us today was the test, I felt so nervous because one of my friend from another class told me the test was very difficult . Before I did my test I prayed and asked God for the wisdom to finish the test. Then I think and think and think, write and write and write . Finally I finish it . In fact, I was the first to finish and hand up my paper.

When the result came out, I score the highest among the my class . I was so surprised. I thank God for He had granted me the wisdom and the knowledge . This proofs that when we have done the necessary preparation , God is there to help us .

OBEDIENCE

Last time when I wasn’t practicing much on my guitar, God spoke to me about serving in church and asked me to practice more. I didn’t do it… Then after a few weeks, God remind me again to practice more, this time I changed my mind and decided to bey what He says. After a month or more of practice, I started joining the Sunday service practice team. The second time I join them, BROTHER Bruce suddenly ask me if I want to join them to serve tomorrow, I was surprised and yet happy as well, and I agreed. I really thank God for this wonderful opportunity that He gave me. It’s really awesome to see things fulfilled in our lives when we start following and OBEYING Him.

I AM HEALED!

I got running nose on 9th March, My mummy prayed for me before I go to bed and then I said "I AM HEALED, AMEN!". The next day, I am happy that no more running nose already.
Yea.. Jesus Heal me.
